Of course it was. The Heist the only thing of importance to the Republican party. Everything else -- stoking anger against minorities, Muslims, liberals, immigrants, gays, women -- is just a method to get into office so they can steal that money.

The Republicans have long stated they don't believe in government at all. Their Members are simply corporate paratroopers who drop in, sabotage, and then are exfiltrated back to business.

Another way of looking at what you are asking, name one piece of legislation that is just wanted by the Rs other than this tax cut.

That was not dump. That was fully R. That is exactly what every other state has done to undermine government. The only difference here is that a balanced budget isn’t required.

They've been out maneuvered and outgunned in Congress since Reagan. Obama tried one thing (Health Care) and it was such a legislative nightmare that it destroyed the party until Trump got elected. Republicans know how to use the minority and they know how to use the majority. Democrats don't.
