Did you see ******** had to sign the bill today cause the press reminded him he promised it by Christmas? I thought they were waiting till after the 1st so Medicare/Medicaid funding doesn't get cut or something like that. He probably signed it but it doesn't become active till after the 1st.

Anyway, whatever.

This is no good-news story. Trump’s year of lying shamelessly has deceived tens of millions, fomented hate, left the world unable to accept even the most trivial words of its most powerful person, and forced Americans, like the residents of totalitarian states, to expend precious energy grounding themselves in the reality their leader is deliberately trying to get them to forget.

What it has not done is work. In office, at least, Trump’s lies have hurt him more than they have helped.

Kicking Bannon to the curb (time will tell if he stops taking his calls). Making Ryan and Itch do backflips. Saying that Bergdahl got off light, and Manning should still be in prison.

All minor stuff. Nothing else SCROTUS or Congress have said or done will be good for the country in the long run.
