POTUS 45.25: Oh Jesus, What Now

Re: POTUS 45.25: Oh Jesus, What Now

Are you contending he wasn't humiliated? I certainly would be if I was in his shoes. I don't have a JD or any legal background other than serving on a federal jury a long time ago, but I do know the ABA signed off on him. Doesn't that carry some significance? It's kind of hard for me to understand how you and burd(and I genuinely do respect both of you a lot and think you are extremely intelligent) can say the guy is a flunky and yet the ABA approves him. To be 100% clear, I really don't care if he gets approved or not, that wasn't what I had trouble with. If Kennedy had a problem with him he should have had a quiet word with someone and not pulled his little performance in front of the cameras. There is no need of that and the nominee didn't deserve it.

I couldn't agree more with your second paragraph. It is hard for me and others to accept but true. It really was a surreal experience a few weeks ago at 1:00 or so on a Saturday morning to see the senate voting on all that tax cut nonsense(along with other garbage throw in). It is hard to see right now how the party ever finds its way again, especially when you mix in the racists and morons.

If he was humiliated he has only himself to blame for accepting the nomination.

Re: POTUS 45.25: Oh Jesus, What Now

He deserved to be humiliated. Jesus. Why do people like drew think non qualified people should be doing every job under this administrarion

Reminds me of a conversation one of my friends had with his uncle. His uncle was complaining about how the media was being biased towards Trump because, "Did you know the Secretary of Education under Obama? What about the Press Secretary?"

My friend said that no, he didn't, but that the Trump selections were getting press because they were historically unqualified, or in the case of guys like Spicer, were making obscene statements or in some cases outright lying, so it was an entirely different situation than Obama or Bush.

His uncle responded with something along the lines of, "Well, he's the president so they should just leave him alone let him do what he wants."

Sigh...

And if they don't do a good job, they can get the sack and the President will find a new guy.

I know the Press Secretary was Gibbs for a while; not sure about Education. However, the terribleness of Common Core speaks for itself.

Re: POTUS 45.25: Oh Jesus, What Now

LOL, indeed - they didn't even try to frame it as a push poll. Half the country really is that effing stupid, too.

What I read from your post: You're only smart if you vote for the person I support. Otherwise, you're stupid.

Talk about partisan discrimination...

Re: POTUS 45.25: Oh Jesus, What Now

Is this responsible journalism?

Conservative commentators on Fox have compared the FBI to the KGB, the notorious Soviet-era spy organization that routinely employed torture and summary executions. Fox News legal commentator Greg Jarrett argued on a segment of “Hannity” earlier this month that Mueller “has been using the FBI as a political weapon. And the FBI has become America’s secret police.

“Secret surveillance, wiretapping, intimidation, harassment and threats. It’s like the old KGB that comes for you in the dark of the night banging through your door.”

Hannity assured viewers, “This is not hyperbole you are using here.”

Tom Fitton, president of the conservative organization Judicial Watch, made the same comparison on Fox News on Wednesday, saying, “Forget about shutting down Mr. Mueller. Do we need to shut down the FBI because it was turned into a KGB-type operation by the Obama administration?”

I think we're going for Civil War now. I think that's what Fox is campaigning for.

@WernerTwertzog

Dear America: You are waking up, as Germany once did, to the awareness that 1/3 of your people would kill another 1/3, while 1/3 watches.

That's it in a nutshell.

The FBI is now the KGB...funny I dont remember the KGB being Republican leaning

Werner has it right...

My favorite is how they're whining about Mueller and he's a Republican. Strange party. Don't even trust your own people.

If anything, a RINO. Follow the money. LOTS of donations to the Clintons.

Remember, Hill-dawg was once a College Republican.

That is the mark of paranoia...I guess when you court the Alex Jones crowd this is what you get.
