Correct. He'll be a right-leaning centrist at best, depending on the issue of the day, what his pastor talked about at Sunday services that week, how much money he's being paid and by whom, what he had for breakfast that morning, etc.
It's already a given he'll toe the NRA's line. You can't get elected at all in 'Bama without holding to that, at a minimum.

As was the case last November, you have to mindful of where you get your information, but it looks like Alabama could surprise some people in this election. Fingers crossed.
