Various groups are persecuted, possibly even killed, and you do nothing. Then, when they come after you and you seek help, there's no one left to defend you.

It's a fu**ing blue checkmark that doesn't mean sh** other than that Twitter persona is a person with a pulse.

Holy fu**. Twitter isn't lining up people they've taken the blue checkmark away from and loading them onto trains to never see their family again.

These people can still tweet with the same freedom* they had just prior to the blue checkmark.

The checkmark isn't even valuable. It's the costume jewelry of the internet.
