Well, given the hypocrisy of the people he interviewed, it's no wonder the still support him.

Almost none of the coal miners are willing to do any other work, in spite of the fact that they know coal isn't coming back. But then the point out that equal is for only who earn it, by working hard and earning respect. Nobody there is working hard and it willing to work. Does that mean that the coal miners who are not willing to learn other stills can no longer be considered equal??

And they are 100% on the blame game. Kinda sad.

The problem is, only the executives know it's not coming back. The miners are the ones refusing training because they have been convinced their jobs are coming back.

That's not how I read the article.

The workers only want to be coal miners, but they all see that dump can bring back coal mining (other than a handful). The writer didn't talk to executives, he talked to regular people.

They know it's not coming back, but are not willing to re-train for other jobs that are needed. So they are no better than people they are whining about.

If I'm the rest of the world I can see a discussion of taking the US out right now as a precautionary measure.

I'm certain that every nuclear power, including our allies, has had contingency plans for decades about what to do if the US goes nuts. Those plans got dusted off when Dump won, and they're being feverishly reworked ever since "fire and fury durr." The Brits and French were here before us and they'll be here after us. And that's not even counting the Chinese, beside who all our civilizations look like the fidget spinner fad.

At minimum they'd need to decapitate, so it's been nice knowing y'all.

I wonder if the other nations have At least discussed trading Donald Trump for the nukes in North Korea. I’m not sure if Kim Jong Un would go for that but I’m sure he’d at least entertain it. :D

The American leader is due to arrive in Manila on Sunday to attend a regional summit, the final leg of a 12-day Asian trip.

Elmer Padilla, who is known for his collection of superheroes and pop culture characters made from flip-flop footwear, said he made the figurine of Trump to welcome him to the country.
