That is the stuff (I think) dx and I are talking about. That shouldnt be allowed. There should be rules about that and regulations preventing it. You can educate people to the teeth but you and I both know that for the average person if a doctor tells them they should take it, they will.

They are educated by tv commercials :p

How ‘Fox & Friends’ Comforted Its Viewers (Trump) Amid Manafort News

https://www.thedailybeast.com/how-fox-and-friends-comforted-its-viewers-trump-amid-manafort-news

That was just the 6 a.m hour. In the following hour, former Trump aide Michael Caputo spent several minutes on how that Fusion GPS anti-Trump dossier “exposes the Russian connections to the Clintons and the Democrats.”

The president was pleased. “Great job by MichaelCaputo on @foxandfriends,” Trump tweeted, just minutes before 8 a.m. ET.

Mmm, tasty nothingburger.

We'll see. These are serious charges and Manafort is going to be thrown under the bus by Trump et al. It will depend on if he wants to eat it all or decides to take some others down with him.

Rick Gates has been at the White House all along. Don't forget about him.

So, CNN and NBC are the fake news channels, right? I mean, that's what I've heard. I think the President may even have told me that.

While your point is more than obvious, the Catalan push or independence isn't a news story of small importance.

One should note that this is not the first open action by the Special Council- George Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to his charges- https://www.justice.gov/file/1007346/download. The result of him pleading guilty can be interesting, too.

But basically, the claims that they didn't know they were russian agents, or that they knew before a meeting, etc- Papadopoulos is admitting that the claims were all BS.

So all of the apologists should have a fun week trying to explain this one.

Re: POTUS 45.22 - The Genius of Donald Trump

Yeah, but Fox was covering the new cheeseburger Emoji.

You should know by now that the top 85% of the screen is useless on Fox. They only put actual news in the crawler, everything else is political cock stroking, or selling fast food and emergency preparedness supplies.

Having just read the indictment, it never ceases to amaze me how people think that you can just lie about what you've previously committed to in writing in an email. It is some sort of human disconnect that is made, a strange belief that because it's not actually down on paper (even though someone probably printed it) and that it goes into your electronic trash never to be seen again on your computer (even though your average 8th grader could probably retrieve it), that it can't be brought forward and handed to you as proof of your lie.

That indictment, tho.

This is how you build case against organized crime: work down to small fry on the bottom nodes, make arrests, exchange leniency in sentencing for full truth, evidence, and testimony implicating the higher ups, then pop up the stack and keep going.

I don't see how Dump or even the Republicans impede this, barring some sort of brazen and probably Unconstitutional obstruction of justice. I think the GOP strategy will be to undermine the legitimacy of the judicial process with their captives. That fits in with their long term project of replacing rule by democratic process and law with rule by wealth and state-sanctioned violence.

The Republicans need to be careful now that this has entered the Courts where their lies have consequences. Before when it was just politics they could lie with impunity safe in the assumption that the Echo Chamber would never examine the truth of their claims. That aint how the US justice system works. Dump and his people are going to be severely punished if not actually impeached and in some cases imprisoned. This is worse than Watergate. Any Republican who keeps bluffing it out now, while safe from his voters since they'll never know any better, is going to get caught up in the backlash against The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight's criminality and treason.

The GOP skated on Watergate in large part because they fed Nixon to the dogs. They're trapped now by all the insanity they have peddled to their base for 25 years. They have to leave Dump hanging, but if they do their zombies and Bannon will come after them.

tl; dr: this is delightful. :)

People older than 40 don't understand email. People younger don't understand the internet is forever.

Holy ****. That's not a little fish AND those aren't little charges. Wow.

Thinking the same thing. Don't know what you get for "conspiring against the United States" but it doesn't sound good. I'd also point out IIRC this is the first time a campaign manager got indicted by the feds since....well, Watergate.

Some Trump loons I think would be stand up guys. Bannon for example would take his prison sentence ala G Gordon Liddy with no complaints as a sense of duty to a larger cause. People like Manafort are going to squeal like pigs once they start looking at serious time.

I read today that trump could pardon manafort. I'd say no way would he do that, but he's not predictable.
He could also fire mueller.

NYT says max is 20 years.

Paul Manafort is so soft he would not last 20 hours. Full pardon or he sings like Freddy Mercury.

"The Justice Department also announced that a former campaign foreign policy aide, George Papadopolous"

Man Webster and Ma'm must be in shock!!

Mongo only pawn in game of life.
