What does it matter? Half the country is probably crapping themselves with joy that Trumpy's not letting those f@gs and he-shes in the military anymore. They'll just attack those whiney libruls for making a big issue out of something that should be common sense. I mean, everyone knows those sorts shouldn't be allowed in the military in the first place.

You're probably right.

But, the Dems need something.

They can't run on any of these topics cause America doesn't care.

Environment.
Equal Pay for Women.
Sexual Harassment.
Immigration.
LGBTQ
Ethics.

Not much left except the economy and they always lose that one.

Wrong and wrong.

Wrong on the economy: we won on that with Clinton and Obama.

Wrong on the others: half the country cares about those things. It's obviously shocking that half the country doesn't, but those dumbf-cks aren't any more "America" than we are. All we have to do is vote and the orcs will be banished back to their daughter-wives and rolling coal and p-ss beer and magic book.

When they win the economy it's never on the merits. It's always because the other side overplayed their hand. Dems never get to overplay.

We didn't vote. We have to vote. But stop acting like the US is Mississippi. The f-ckwits are out there, but we're more than their equals. Dump is at about 38% approval.

If we all voted, we would win by more than Reagan beat Mondale by. Not even the GOP can steal elections that are that much of a rout.

Well if the Dems keep doing the same neoliberal crap that doesn't appeal to the vast majority of their actual base (but does appeal to their donors) then yeah we can reasonably expect that.

Aside from an occasional example here or there, they haven't stopped doing the same "neoliberal crap" yet, and we're nearly a year since trump was elected and proven to be as unqualified and unbalanced as we feared. If the election was held today, trump would probably win again, despite the fact his approval rating in under 40%. republicans will vote for their party whether it is Abraham Lincoln running or Satan. Far too many democrats need to get wet or stiff to be bothered.

Well, it depends on which ones. I would love to see a neuropsych eval on him. If he wasn't the Pres it would be a fascinating read. I posted this before- he really sounds like someone with dementia who is capable of faking it some of the time but can't really be coherent when pressed. It is really, really uncanny listening to him after coming home from the Long Term Care place where people who sound just like him are residents.

If Ohio voted for president tomorrow and the choices were once again Clinton and trump, trump would win by more than the 8 percentage points he won by last year. Mark it down. Nothing leads me to believe that as a party the democrats have learned what it will take to enjoy widespread electoral success in 2018. Maybe by then we'll see and I'll have a different opinion.
