Bernie doesn't matter. Hillary doesn't matter. They're dead and buried.
The future matters. Eyes on the prize.
The future. Just don't pick anyone with high levels of estrogen.
So, anyone taking bets we default on our debt?
Senator Paul and Cruz have come out against Debt Ceiling funding being tied to Hurricane Harvey. Kepler promised a clean bill. Now it's not even clean. AND, Trump just threw a MOAB into Congress by rescinding DACA so they're all distracted.
They have very little time to get the Debt Ceiling passed and without it Harvey gets NO relief cause there's no money in FEMA coffers (another grand strategy by Trump).
Bye Bye Credit. Saw Pawlenty do it to Minnesota. It's the Republican way. And no one loves defaulting on credit more than your current President.
However, Sanders would have gotten crushed by Trump.
But the young people are clearly the problem you see, they definitely shouldn't listen to them seeing as old people get younger and all.Your way failed.
Would anyone be shocked if he just disregards it and keeps operating normally?

As a 54-year old I am entirely in favor of killing everyone over 39 and starting over.
"We tried to do our best but we could not." DFA us.
Kepler's Run??
That's not how it works. If you don't raise the ceiling the checks stop being worth anything. He can't just say "keep printing the checks." There is nothing to write the checks against. "Keptin, I kinna change the laws of finance."
Now, of course, yes, this is stupid, because the whole idea of the debt ceiling is stupid. The money has already been spent. The debt ceiling is Congress throwing a party on Saturday night and then on Monday morning saying "we've decided we can't afford that party so we're not paying for it."
YOU. ALREADY. SPENT. THE. MONEY. YOU. DUMB. F-CKS.
So, in addition to pushing Health Care on the do nothing Congress. The Debt Ceiling. DACA. Trump is now going to hand them the Iran Nuclear Deal.

Also, there is a theme here. If Obama did it, Trump wants to undo it. Everything Obama did will be gone by the time this President leaves office. It will be like he was never there.
Obama will lose his legacy if Trump or the Republicans continue their control. Especially if they keep the House in 2018.
And yet most data indicates otherwise including the open primary states.
And whom would that be? You need to start the candidates thread for 2020.
Hold Carousel at all the NFL stadiums each New Year's Day and televise it. 3 million people a year / 32 venues = 94 thousand each. Perfect.
Everything Obama did will be gone by the time this President leaves office. It will be like he was never there.
Two words: Hunger Games.
It says something about the strength of your argument that every time we discuss this you have to bring out your smears about being starry-eyed for Bernie or being a pothead college student at Saturday market.
Maybe if you actually talked about the merits of policy you would convince somebody. But ad hom and snark is all you have. There is nothing behind your snarling except "''shut up,' he explained."
We tried your way for thirty years after getting routed by Reagan. We tried shelving liberal policy because we didn't want to anger the big money donors or scare away the suburbanites. After the blowouts of the 80s that seemed reasonable. In 1992 maybe it was indeed the best we could do.
But sticking with that strategy has gotten us where we are today: a government up and down the tiers dominated by conservatives, the rebirth of rightwing fanaticism and fascism, the steady erosion of women's rights, burgeoning racism, an inequality chasm that has destroyed the middle class, and the institutionalization of bribery to replace democratic government with plutocracy.
Your way failed. Our way may fail but (1) we deserve a chance, and (2) the one time we held sway we created the middle class and the American economic miracle while beating the Nazis, and that's a pretty good track record.
