edit: The fact that someone voted for him may not be evidence he or she is deplorable. But anyone who continues to support him now would surely qualify.

No, Drew would have said, "I'm not saying Arpaio was completely innocent, but I'm not in favor of wrongful convictions. And it's too bad it's happening with judges from both sides."

They were clever enough to do them on their way out of office. Unless there is a God and Trump plans on leaving in the next month, it's gonna be little different.

Nope- this is. She enforced a law on the books when the manufacturers tried to tweak things the slightest bit to get around the law. I have no problem with folks owning guns but I see no reason for assault weapons. If you don't like the law then find a way to change it. Oh, wait.... we don't need to pay attention to the ones we don't like

I will just leave this as is.

NPR had something on about the legality of the Pardon. I missed most of it but they had consulted some legal folks and there were a number of requirements for the pardon that were not right.

WaPo reporting Trump tried to get Sessions to kill the Arpaio case before there was a conviction.
