In an ideal world that would be the case. We should do what we can to help though.

The US is so distrusted in Central and South America that it's probably the kiss of death for us to become associated with any movement or side. Just too many bad actions over the last century plus.

Re: POTUS 45.16 - If Never Forgotten, One Would ALWAYS Remember Something.

It's possible that trump is turning the bluster up to eleven because his people have warned him about his crumbling numbers. He is so stupid though that he doesn't realize it isn't his base he needs to energize All of the latest examples of his shtick are red meat to the typical trump voter like the shirtless "make my burrito" guy with all the tattoos from a trump rally last year. Every time he makes another "tough guy" pronouncement they get a little stiffy. Anyone who is even slightly impressed by this kind of tough talk is a loser. Sort of like trump. Someone should remind him that President Truman did not thump his chest BEFORE dropping the bomb. It was only afterwards that he warned of further destruction. Its been true since Roosevelt said it, "Speak softly and carry a big stick. You will go far." What a sad state our country is in though that there are enough people out there impressed by the empty tough talk of a bully, so many so they were able to elect a president. It's getting harder every day to take solace in the fact his supporters are the ones most likely to suffer from his presidency.

After he starts a war with Venezuela. He just refused to take a phone call from the Venezuelan President.

The Hill
BREAKING: The White House announced Friday night that President Trump refused to take a phone call from Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on the same day Trump said he would not rule out military action against the country.

He doesn't need Viagra. He just needs to feel like a big man.

Venezuela will institute a coffee embargo on the USA.

Re: POTUS 45.16 - If Never Forgotten, One Would ALWAYS Remember Something.

They ought to embargo magic beans, since they can afford to pay people to grow that just as much as coffee.

Re: POTUS 45.16 - If Never Forgotten, One Would ALWAYS Remember Something.

U.S. Senator Ben Sasse, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, issued the following statement regarding the President’s comments on a "possible military option" in Venezuela.

"No. Congress obviously isn't authorizing war in Venezuela. Nicolas Maduro is a horrible human being, but Congress doesn’t vote to spill Nebraskans' blood based on who the Executive lashes out at today."

Any US action has to be in retaliation for a launch against the US. No 1st strike. Prof. Groeteschele must be locked out from the Situation Room.

Different movie. Mookie sees tD and sees Martin sheen. Is it too late for Christopher walken to show up?? :p

So we can expect a Tweetstorm from Dump about "Babbling Ben" by tomorrow evening, then.

It takes quite an effort in today's world to come up with the most moronic statement of the day so well done to Senator Sasse. Regardless of what you think of Trump it's not some sort of phony event over there. If I was Venezuelan I would be pretty irritated by what he said. I'm not saying we should send people in, but the statement is completely unnecessary.

What the **** am I reading here? "it's not some sort of phony event", no one's saying it's a phony event, it's a comment on the stupidity of Trump throwing around "possible military option" like it's nothing. It's more than necessary when the President shoots from the hip on something so serious as military intervention, for a country that in no way threatens us. Who gives a **** if the Venezuelans are insulted, the properness of throwing around military action has ****all to do with what they think.

Seriously find a meeting. Or take a reading comp class because your posts show you either cant read or dont understand what you are reading.

I bet you would be all over supporting Obama threatening action in Venezuela...and by that I mean you woudlnt of course.

Isnt Mueller a Republican by voting record? Is Faux actually suggesting the GOP is plotting against their own President? Fraudbot would be so proud!!

I would not be surprised if both party's establishments are in secret negotiations to topple the President.

He's not their president.

No, he's not, and he never was. This man works for no one but himself.

But the GOP put him there.
