That's exactly what I think! I think we are wonderful folk and when she said it I was very irritated. Maybe she meant something different, but to me it was rural people she was talking about.

Talk about a looking for a reason to justify hating someone.

It was pretty clear she was talking about the people who approve of racism, Islamaphobia, homophobia, ***** grabbin', misogyny, and making fun of the disabled. Unless you consider those to be key attributes of wonderful folk.

Well, way to prove you're as dumb as you sound.

I didn't blame all white people. I just reminded Whites and Christians that it's ok for them to be fundamentalists. Just not anyone else.

Exactly. If the driver of the van had been named Yusef Muhamed the rhetoric would be completely different. But since he looked like the average Meth Head in Nebraska and drove a Dodge Challenger and thinks Jesus is taking the wheel all is well.

Re: POTUS 45.16 - If Never Forgotten, One Would ALWAYS Remember Something.

I wouldn't. It's what they want you to do, and it can cost you your job.

The Nazi protesters in Virginia got exactly what they wanted. They scheduled a march to protest the removal of a statue most of them had never heard of before. They got themselves all dressed up in matching outfits like mommy used to make them wear to Six Flags. They threw their moms' citronella torches into their cars and they headed to Virginia.

They were praying a counter-protest group would confront them. That way they get to spout their nonsense and play the victim card. Plus, they get to beat someone up.

It is extraordinarily difficult to walk past someone spouting nonsense through a Mr. Microphone on a street corner, but that reaction is the one that bothers them most.

But you'll have to choose your own way.

That is easy for you to say since they pose no real threat to you. Personally if I see a bunch of Nazis with weapons in my town I am going to get threatened.

Re: POTUS 45.16 - If Never Forgotten, One Would ALWAYS Remember Something.

So, the question from Nazi apologists seems to be don't condemn all Republicans. Well, I do! See, the issue isn't that all 62M people who keep voting for the GOP candidate for President are walking around with torches in small towns and running people over with cars. The issue is that all of them, to a person, have no issue with tolerating white supremacists with nary a peep of objection as long as their support helps further a different goal, such as tax cuts for billionaires or transgender bathroom laws, etc. This has been proven time and time and time again, and stop waiting for the lamestream media to point it out because they won't.

What needs to be done is everybody outside of the 62M cultists needs to vote for the Democrats. Not 3rd party candidates, not staying home with your thumb up your arse on election day and thinking you're superior because of it. Yes, you may not get 100% of what you're looking for whatever pet issues you have, but for fuk's sake, do you REALLY think you'd be seeing a coddling of hate groups out of a Dem Presidential Admin, even if it was a conservaDem in office?

Lastly, whether people truly believe what they're writing or are just playing characters out here, I don't think being an apologist for alt-right neo-Nazi's is something to aspire to especially right after a murder by one of them, but perhaps Drew, Brent and Sic and speak to their motivations...

It may be easy to say, but it's not easy to do. Most people suck badly at it. Just think of the easy example, right here on this message board.

How often are posters encouraged "don't feed the trolls" or to place someone on "ignore?" All very sound advice, yet almost no one follows it, at least for any length of time.

These people are trolls, and when you respond, they win.

What happened to hating the communists? Surely we're not returning to the 40s?

President Trump is facing heated criticism over not publicly condemning white nationalists for inciting this weekend’s bloody confrontation in Charlottesville, Va., but on Monday he criticized the head of Merck pharmaceuticals for quitting a federal panel in protest of Mr. Trump’s equivocal response to the violence.

Merck’s chief executive, Kenneth C. Frazier, resigned from the president’s American Manufacturing Council on Monday, saying he objected to the president’s statement on Saturday blaming violence that left one woman dead on “many sides.”

Donald's response.

Now that Ken Frazier of Merck Pharma has resigned from President's Manufacturing Council,he will have more time to LOWER RIPOFF DRUG PRICES!

She might not have meant all rural people, but she had a certain type in mind seeing as she exempted people from a lot of bigger states.

Look, you can continue to string random phrases together to form technical sentences, but that doesn't mean they're coherent or convey actual information. If that's what you took away from her "Deplorables" comment, you not only have a lack of critical thinking skills but also apparently a vivid but destructive imagination.

Seriously, take Lincoln's advice to remain silent and be thought a fool. Because each new post you make removes all doubt.

Well in today's world if you don't agree with someone politically they're obviously a moron.

These are trolls that kill people...ignoring them doesnt make them go away it makes them gas up their Hemi.

We have spent decades ignoring them...when they claimed the Government was going to kill them all at Ruby Ridge we balked. When they blew up the Federal Building in OKC we didnt go around hunting them down. When they took the fledgling internet and used it as ways to organize we kept them in the shadows making sure not to give them a pulpit. The problem is every time we ignore them they grow and they feel more emboldened.

And that is their game. Sure they want us to fight back, but they also count on the idea that we will just ignore them until it is too late. This is not some small isolated incident...this has been building for months and many of these clowns bussed in from all over the country to spit in the face of America. Sooner or later you cant just look the other way or you are part of the problem.

I quote Kennedy invoking Dante:

"The hottest places in Hell are reserved for those who in time of moral crisis preserve their neutrality."

How. Really, how did you come to the conclusion that deplorables were rural people????

How could you possibly read into her statement that she meant anyone other than the racist xenophobes that we saw this weekend??

There is NO basis that liberals or anyone would think rural folk are bad at all. That extension takes some real imagination.

What kind of media were you reading that pretends that?? Honestly.
