If you ever wondered how stupid Sarah Huckabee Sanders is, or how far Trumps idiots...errr...minions will go to defend him watch this.

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

OK, so Flynn and crew back-channeled to Russia. The issue still remains - "What did the President know, and when did he know it?" It's obvious they won't get him for obstruction. Republicans won't go for it even if they can build a strong case, because they are pussies who are too scared of Trump's base, even when they've got lawful evil Pence waiting in the wings.

It's not what you know, it's what you can prove. And given Trump's legal history...you better be DAM sure you have concrete evidence, no question about it, even a Kardashian would say, "Duh, guilty." IMO, that's the issue. Even if there is the tiniest loophole, Trump's lawyers would find it.

Somehow I can't believe that if she were give this excuse to her Dad when she was little that he would have bought it. I know mine would have smacked my backside if I tried that type of logic to excuse poor behaviour.

The question remains- will they ever expect the toddler in chief to behave like an adult? All sorts of blowback from the GOP Senators and even Paul RYan but--- this is like watching parents say 'You do that one more time!!' about 100 times

Yeah, but to be fair, if you had a murdered and tortured a stray dog, your dad would have punished you and possibly gotten you into some sort of therapy, rather than using his powers to stop any investigations into you by the state police.

Of course not. They don't expect it it because they know it won't happen. 30 year old dooshes were dooshes when they were 21 and are dooshes when they are 50 and when they are 70. trump will never change because for his entire life his dooshbaggery has gotten him what he wanted. Attention and gold digging wives. Now it has gotten him the biggest prize a dooshbag has ever earned from his dooshbaggery.

The daily excuse or forgiveness we hear from republicans in congress only proves they appreciate the same things that trump has used all along to get what he's wanted. At some point the republicans will come up with a health care plan the house and senate will agree is just draconian enough that they will send it to trump and he will sign it into law. And of course then will come the inevitable court challenges from progressives and all that accompanies that circus. And while we're waiting -- and the democrats are chasing their tails and losing more elections -- all of the other horrible things that trump will do will continue slowly killing people. Usually his biggest supporters.

At some point I wonder if it won't be better to just ignore trump. Treat him like flaggy, put him on "ignore." The issue is all who enable him and allow him to continue to use the White House like a middle school playground. The media and the elected republicans could stop this. But since most of those fraternities are made up of money and attention whores too, well, I'm not holding my breath.

Apparently Greta Van Susteren has lost her job at MSNBC already. I can't imagine why. They don't really look for big ratings in that slot. Seemed a normal enough show. She's well known.

She was awful, anyway. They could replace her with a single camera watching paint dry and it would be more entertaining and informative.

The GOP majority will quash any obstruction charge no matter how blatant and well proven. But the GOP majority is not forever.

Are we even sure of this? Dump seems to surround himself with people as incompetent as he is. It wouldn't surprise me that he's represented by I Can't Believe It's a Law Firm and the only way he ever wins is by sheer financial muscle.

If it comes to that, Dump, when compared to the United States judiciary apparatus, is one of those paupers he has his daddy liked to evict back in the day.

It is more and more evident that every thing about Dump, from his business skill to his "best people" to even his actual resources, has always been just a con job. This time around he just happened to find 63 million chumps.

Mika and Joe respond.

The president’s unhealthy obsession with “Morning Joe” does not serve the best interests of either his mental state or the country he runs. Despite his constant claims that he no longer watches the show, the president’s closest advisers tell us otherwise. That is unfortunate. We believe it would be better for America and the rest of the world if he would keep his 60-inch-plus flat-screen TV tuned to “Fox & Friends.”

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

This month, the secretary of education, Betsy DeVos, announced plans to dismantle a set of Obama-era policies devised to protect students and taxpayers from predatory for-profit colleges.

Yet data released in the final days of the previous administration shows that the existing rules have proved more effective at shutting down bad college programs than even the most optimistic backers could have hoped.

The rules that Ms. DeVos wants to repeal are called the gainful employment regulations. They work like this: For all for-profit programs, and any nondegree employment certificate programs at public or nonprofit colleges, the education department compares how much the typical student borrows versus how much they earn after graduation.

If the ratio is too high — if students borrow lots of money and can’t get well-paying jobs — the program is deemed “failing.” A program that fails in two out of three years becomes ineligible for federal financial aid. Since many for-profit programs get up to 90 percent of their revenue through the Department of Education, the penalty will almost surely shut them down

The fact that the Trump Social Media Director called her "Crazy Mika" in a tweet following Trump shows you everything you need to know about this administration.

BTW I didnt watch the entire press conference but if someone in the media didnt ask The Even Dumber Huckabee about why President Obama never reacted like this when the media was fixated on his birth certificate then they all failed. She wont be long for this job the way she antagonizes them anyways. When the reporter called her out for her using the CNN debacle to rant about fake news it was classic :) She is so far out of her element. (just like everyone in the clown show)

Man I am so thankful we didnt elect Hillary...

They all started watching her upper lip not move when she spoke. It spooked them too.

It does get a little entertaining to watch a guy spend 20 seconds typing something, you guys spend about 2 days getting bent out of shape about it, and then he continues to improve the country while y'all're complaining.

He is a wily scumbag. For some reason I have paid attn to all his shennanigans. He regularly screws people and gets away with it. It isn't right or wrong. It is the constant appeals, multiple legal challenges that bleed people dry when they try to fight him.

Ari who used to be GWB press sec was defending her yesterday saying that was an inappropriate place to confront her, that they should have done so privately in her office. WHen the guy who did the rant said no attempts to do that had been successful Ari had nothing to say other than to repeat it was inappropriate. The ragular rules don't work because when the press plays by the rules and acts professional the other side does not. No way to win.

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

Thing is, he just uses his money as a club. That's his only move. That's not wily.

Wiliness assumes flexibility, but Dump is deterministic. You can predict what he will do given inputs x, y and z. He's a mechanical ego self-stroking device.
