This guy is President of the ****ing United States of America.

I just don't think I can stand it anymore.

They did. The only one who thinks that Russia could have had any actual influence directly on the vote was don. You f-ing moron. don, you said that there were millions of false votes- not anyone else, especially Secretary Clinton and President Obama. And since everyone but the dumb conspiracy theorists think there were that many fraudulent votes- it's pretty clear to anyone with a critical brain that THEY DID STOP THEM.

More and more, I think don was in on it. Especially since the end game of russia is clearly to question our votes, and the ONLY candidate in any election who also tried to question the votes was don. It only makes sense that don's russian controller made sure he brought that up, and continues to bring it up, in spite of the win.

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

When don blamed the Democrats for obstruction- he could not be specific on what they are actually obstructing, because there isn't anything.

Democrats are not holding up healthcare- republicans are.

Democrats are not holding up nominees- all of the ones so far got through- not with any significant support, but that's no different that President Obama. Even the SCOTUS nominee got through. And for the unfilled positions, there are no nominees to hold up. They just don't exist.

It's just BS, it's not even funny.

I'm sure Democrats what to do their best to hold up things- but there's just nothing they need to hold up. Heck, the healthcare bill already has enough R's against it, because they have no idea what it is, that it won't pass.

R's have both houses and the White House, and it's STILL Democrats to blame.

What's really funny (strange funny) about this- there was an article on Morning Edition this morning about the real separation is more between educated and non educated. But the people the non-educated are voting for are CUTTING education. So they are more likely to get farther behind, and this has been willingly going on for many years. The most ardent of the one side are the non-educated who don't ever leave their home for better opportunities. Which makes them blame everyone else for their problems. Like the coal miners who forget that their family moved to that area at some point for the opportunity- they just have to stay there and be coal miners. Even in the face of declining demand for coal and the increase of other jobs throughout the country. Like making solar panels....

But all of that means is that they won't question the candidate who blames. Just like don does.

Yeah no one cares about any of that. They arent listening because they dont want to.

Trump is Going to Pass a Law That is Already on the Books!

There is zero chance he didnt know this BTW. He didnt pick 5 years at random, this was written this way for a reason. He and his handlers know the people at his rallies have zero clue about any of this (as proof by the standing ovation he got) so they promise something already enacted and take all the credit.

Trump bashed wind energy in Iowa? That's going to go over as well as failing to take the ethanol pledge.

And yet, a large number of people believe this. Democrats need to do a better job fighting back against this sort of thing. They can't just keep assuming that anyone with a brain can see these are lies. They have to demonstrate that these are lies, and be simple and concise while doing so.

Dems need to fight back, that is true, but more importantly they have to convince the gettable voters of the harm they will suffer if the GOP policies are put into place. Identifying lies as lies may be necessary but it is a long way from being sufficient (and I know you are not saying it is). GOPers are very accomplished at appealing to fears. The Dems should learn from that, and I don't think they have to do it with lies and appeals to redneck prejudices. Dems will never get the middle and far right, but they can motivate those within reach by using some of the GOPer's tactics without sacrificing their integrity.

Not all of it anyway. It's a contact sport.

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

I think Democrats can sweep every race for 4 years if they appropriate the NeverTrump conservatives' latest slogan and use it for a call to unity: "Country over Party." (I know it's a little ironic to promote one-party politics with this idea, but these are desperate times)

The alternative, "White people and poor people and straight people are evil garbage that must all be killed NOW because Trump and Republicans" will continue to not work for the foreseeable future.

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

But they can't. The Repubs will call them on it every time, and the Democrats will meekly concede and apologize, furthering their perceived image as ball-less milquetoasts.

Democrats need to fight back against every Republican lie, and fight back hard. Not just say, "wrong' or go off on some ten minute technobabble discussion about why it's wrong, but in short succint phrases, demonstrate the lie, and then explain in words even a fifth grader can understand, the effects of the specific Republican policy on the people they're speaking to.
Honestly you're not trying to switch Republicans to Dems, you're just trying to get your own base motivated enough to vote. Guys like Bernie and the guy running against Paul Ryan (Bryce?) seem to understand the concept of voicing frustration and anger shared by millions of people. They're mad that banks took their house due to the risks that they took or that they can't afford decent healthcare and Paul Ryan is trying to take that away. They get people angry and motivated. That is what they need to focus on.

Secretary Clinton has never cast doubt over the actual election and votes. Not once.

don questioned the vote before and after the the election- many, many times.

Secretary Clinton questions the motive of how leaks were exposed to the public- not the votes.

and the reality of that situation should be two separate investigations.

If you want to add the don election group- that's a third individual investigation.

The first two - it should be a very bi-partisan goal to figure that out. Unless politicians are too stupid to see that all you need to do is **** the wrong person off, and you too can be hacked, and your votes could be hacked- regardless of party.

The last one- yea, it's political, fine. Bear with people as they want to find out if laws were broken.

To totally dismiss the whole Russian investigation is total crap, and you can't see all of what had, is, and could be going on.

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

Trump on June 9th regarding any Comey tapes: "I'll tell you about it over a short period of time. I'm not hinting at anything."

Trump today on Twitter: "I have no idea whether there are tapes or recordings of my conversations with James Comey, but I did not make, or do not have, any such recordings."

Is this the 1st time he's ever admitted to being a big, fat liar?

Re: POTUS 45.12: Dan, does it take courage when encountering the covfefe?

I thought KAC had the Twitter troll of the week all locked up with:

Kellyanne Conway‏Verified account @KellyannePolls Jun 20

Thanks to everyone who breathlessly and snarkily proclaimed #GA06 as a "referendum on POTUS @realDonaldTrump".

You were right.

#winning

Now Trump comes out with his "no tapes" Tweet admitting he has no tapes of he and Comey.
With his first "better hope there aren't tapes" Tweet he got Comey to admit (1) Comey himself leaked, and (2) Trump was not under investigation under Comey's regime.
Now he just flat trolls Comey with the "nope, no tapes".

Dang. It's going to be a close vote this week.
