Sounds like Spicer is getting promoted and is interviewing candidates for his replacement.

I thought fracked natty gas was the devil?

That devil carries a pitchfork in West Virginia but wears a halo in North Dakota.

Btw, to go off-point--how did all these 'sotans end up on these political threads?

The only state with widespread intelligence, liberalism, and hockey?

Good lord that lawyer is horrible. He is as dumb as his client. It is one thing to get in this fight on NBC or CNN when you slip up but Faux? My god man. If Trump could find anyone else to represent him he would be fired...

So Spicy is out. Press briefings cannot be recorded. There hasn't been a POTUS interview in weeks, and even longer since his last press briefing. And the Senate is writing a super-secret healthcare bill that no one knows about.

So much for being *way* more transparent than Obama.

What America voted for.

To be fair, Chris Wallace isn't a stereotypical Fox pundit. He might be one of the better non-editorial members of the press on TV.

How often did Obama take questions at the DPB? How did that compare with his predecessors?

I seem to remember it being either weekly or at least fairly regularly.

Maybe you should check out the weekly address on the White House's YouTube channel. Or, if you want to ask the President something, maybe you should come out with something more original than the fake news you're still trying to create with the whole Russia thing.

From Time magazine :
Presidents have taken questions from reporters on average every 15 days during the past three administrations, according to a recent NPR analysis of American Presidency Project data, while the “unofficial White House statistician” Mark Knoller of CBS News says the longest President George W. Bush went without talking to the press was 82 days. For President Obama, the number rose slightly to 86.

*edit* By quick math, it's been 124 days since Trump's last press briefing.

I'm subscribed to the WH channel on YouTube already, thankyouverymuch. They have only posted *five* daily press briefing videos in the last *four weeks*.

Weekly address != Press briefing.

If I wanted to listen to Trump ramble incessantly about himself, I would have watched The Apprentice^.

^ I did watch season one. Was rooting for Troy McClain. Omarosa was a box of rocks. Stopped watching partway through season two. Players figured out how to game the system quick. Same problem Survivor and Road Rules had after a few seasons.

Just out of curiosity with those 82 and 86 days, did those happen to fall during the summer?

Hate to break it to you, but the mainstream press is a dinosaur. People don't trust them anymore, especially with manipulative edits and desperate attempts, sometimes crossing the line into unethical, to smear anything that doesn't fit the agenda. Also, they're no longer the only game in town, as you're seeing more independent outlets that do actual teleprompter-free journalism getting into the game. Jerome Corsi now has access. I'm sure a representative of TYT has sought access. Breitbart is on the rise.
