I used to Ignore like crazy but then peek. Now I've trained myself so even though I have only one person currently on Ignore I never peek. It makes life fractionally more pleasant.

Understood, but what I'm saying is that the cooling only tends to stop initiatives the Ruling Class opposes. When the 1% want something, they get it through bribery and manipulation. The popular will is never on their side, the sine curve of the popular will oscillates between knowing they're getting f-cked and wanting to do something about it (what the Democrats used to try to foster) and being ignorant that they're getting f-cked / knowing they're getting f-cked but blaming The Scapegoat Other of the Week (Catholics, Jews, blacks, The Yellow Horde, liberals, Latinos, feminists, Muslims) / knowing they're getting f-cked but being defeatist and beaten down (what the Democrats tend to do by accident when they're not on the ball and what the Republicans are paid to deliberately spread so their paymasters get their way with minimal investment).

I heard pieces. It was a very good speech. I wish she'd just be a godd-mn women's rights advocate. It's her wheelhouse. It's the one thing she sounds completely sincere about.

If there's anyone on the WH staff who I figure will sing like a bird when faced with the prospect of going to federal pound me in the azz prison, I figure it's Jared.

He seems a bit tender.
