The right better stand up for the Constitution soon. They whined for 50 years that Them Evil Leftists would shred the Bill of Rights, and now that it's actually being done, it's a guy with an "R" after his name so it's fine by them.

Is there even one person on the right with any dignity at all? So far, nobody.

We should start talking about how to end this.

My suggestion is that on April 1 (for obvious reasons) we stop going to work. Every one of us. And we stop buying anything we don't need to literally survive. How many days of a universal labor and consumer strike could this nation withstand before Congress found a "reason" to impeach?

I doubt it would take 2 weeks. The instant you hit the 1% in the pocket it becomes Important.

Massive, non-violent public demonstration is entirely within the law and within the framework of a democratic nation. I'm not even recommending civil disobedience: it's not yet illegal not to go shopping or go to work.

Our terms would be simple: impeach Trump plus ensure 100% back pay for all employees who were absent from their jobs during the period, and no firing people for their protest. That's it.

What Bannon doesn't seem to understand, is that the media is supposed to be the opposition.

You've got ambassadors around the world fired on Day 1 with no replacements, and who knows how long before we have them, and now the senior management leadership of the State Department let go. Nothing good at all can come from this.

Like many other Republicans, they see the media as being too soft and friendly when the Democrats are in the White House, and therefore take offense when they show teeth towards the president when a Republican holds the office.

They weren't let go, they left of their own accord. Because they knew Trump's policies were not theirs. So he'll find people that support the policies. Just like when your boy fired the generals because they wouldn't shoot Americans.

they were opposition to the idiot republicans that were obstructing everything. they controlled most of government, state and federal you know.

Article says they were fired. Told by the administration they were no longer needed. That they turned in letters of resignation rather than make an issue of it speaks to their professionalism.

The WaPo article doesn't mention anything about them being fired, just that they turned in their resignations. If they were in fact fired, Trump's staff are more deranged than I could have ever imagined. Sincerely, I thought they would keep him in check somewhat. It's extremely disappointing to find that I was so wrong - sad, even. We're so very hosed.

Then officially they were not terminated. The fake news is only damaging the reputations of those they're trying to protect.

So Steve Bannon is borrowing Trump's longtime M.O. -- branding the opposition. "Low Energy Jeb," "Little Marco" "Lyin' Ted" and "Crooked Hillary" And they're branding the media as "the opposition." Will the big players in the media take the bait? Does a bear **** in the woods? Misdirection!!
