The chances of the GOP impeaching and removing from office one person is slim (I would say MAYBE 1% as it stands) but the chances that they remove 2, one of whom is pretty much their base incarnate and wont make the same stupid mistakes The Urine King does is infinitesimal. Unless they can prove he colluded with Trump on everything (which he most likely didnt) they wont even discuss it formally.
Even if the Dems take back the House there is no way the Senate will flip and they wont remove one GOP President (hell half of them dont even want a special prosecutor) let alone 2. There is probably a better chance you win the lottery while being attacked by a shark whilst also being struck by lightning.

Yeah the media has to love this and hate this. I mean for one thing they have new stories every 3 hours which is amazing but at the same time there is no way they can get to the bottom of all of them so it is a Sophie's Choice. I mean think about it as all of this is going on there is no talk of his failed Muslim Ban, the craptaculat Health Care Bill, the Tax Reform which will bankrupt us, the lovefest for every dictator, the alleged rape, the hate he has induced in people all his lies, his unsecure phone, his graft with Mar a Lago, Kushner's sister selling off citizenship, the Graft of the Trump Brand abroad...

If the Dems had a shot to win the Senate I would agree with you but the chances are slim unless they pass the Health Care Bill as is. Too many Dem seats and not enough GOP seats up last I saw. No way a gOP Senate removes a GOP Prez from office...

We're overdue for corrections. The only reason it hasn't started yet is that Wall Street was optimistic Trump would get his tax plan passed so they could have bigger bonuses, and therefore more pocket money for hookers and blow. They can still afford both regardless, so it's the middle class who will once again take it in the arse.
Our best hope is Trump resigns or gets tossed, and Pence makes the Ford mistake of pardoning him from criminal prosecution.

Trump resigning would have the positive effect of driving his supporters away from the polls the next time around, even if they could find Trump 2.0, so to speak. They already believe the system is rigged and it was only illegals and dead democrats voting the got Clinton a popular vote majority. If reality manages to drive trump from the White House they'll give up on a system that they believe will be proven corrupt because it drove their guy out. His supporters will still think trump is great, and will still not admit they were dupes and rubes. But they might not bother to vote the next time, which would be great.

My biggest concern with a Trump impeachment is his biggest mouthbreathers. Not that they would full-on revolt, but that the nuttiest of them would be spurred to terror acts, and would fail to understand why that is no different than the Islamist terrorists they fear and loathe.
If even 1% of this country would die for Trump, we're in for a serious tragedy.
