POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Re: POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait

Is this true? DeVos' brother founded Blackwater (yes that one), her husband owns Amway, and she's for defunding public schools?

Dear god. Get that family under a microscope. We can find the gene that makes a person evil.

Sounds about right...

On another note does it seem odd to anyone else that John Lewis is now the Right Wing pinata? I mean I get that Trump hates him cause Trump hates most black people (especially if they try and rent one of his properties) but I mean there seems to be a lot of GOPers not even hiding their contempt for the guy...

I mean I am sure we will hear that it has zero to do with race and that GOPers are not racist at all from our local defenders but something about all of this just doesnt smell right. (that could just be the urine though)

Re: POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

But inferring that atheism does is a-ok?

If you actually buy that religion is not the motivation behind presidential assassinations, that's good enough for me.

Its very simple.

It doesn't matter whether from the far left, the far right, pro religious, or anti religious, if you're ideological agenda leads you to be wrong...expect to called out on it.

He's been through worse and come out ahead dragging all of us behind him. He's had an amazing story.

They get a little touchy around this time year, being reminded which side of history they are on and all.

I'm not surprised at all, but I want to see scorched earth response to all of them, not faux outrage via press releases. The events of the last couple of weeks have me asking a few questions:

1) Why haven't national Dems made Paul LePage the symbol for modern day Republicans? Instead of shaking your head when he says something stupid, go after the guy. Public ridicule on a constant basis is what the guy deserves.

2) If Tom Price invested in stock in companies right before passing legislation to benefit them, why is this coming out now and not when he did it??? Can't Dems sniff out and publicize stuff like this?

3) Can anybody tell me why Paul Ryan is considered an intellectual heavyweight by the political press? Given that he's about to get his lunch money stolen by Trump, isn't there any way for Dems to ratfuk with them both via rumors and anonymous sources leaked to the meek press that Ryan thinks Trump is in over his head and he plans on being the real power in DC, while Trump thinks Ryan is a wimp who will either do whatever he's told to or Trump will make his resign? Who's in charge of leaking misinformation and damaging rumors at the DNC?

Time to play hardball Dems. No more white papers and national conversations.

It's not that he's a Negro. It's that he's an uppity Negro.

If he would just stay quiet and be a good boy, they'd have no issues with him whatsoever.

Re: POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

Why do they even bother with hearings when none of these nominees will get turned away? Based on her hearings yesterday, she shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a public school. It was pretty evident. Has there ever been a nominee for a cabinet post that didn't get the job based on these types of hearings?

Re: POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

But the GOP told me premiums would go down!?! https://www.cbo.gov/publication/52371

This is one of those reasons why Trump was attacking the CBO a few weeks ago, knowing they would release figures that made his approval numbers slip.

(And no, I did not frame that statement incorrectly at all. It's all about him and not what this could do to the country or his party.)

Just watching that second video I posted below again I think she's dumber than a post. She'll be confirmed though.

Yep, that's all correct.

Say hello to vouchers and charters, which they will use to achieve their ultimate goal - cut the pay of "lazy, overpaid, incompetent" teachers in the unions.

Correct - it's already been spun as "Lewis is the REAL rascist!" :D

Then I'm calling you out. You take exception every time someone says anything about Christianity that isn't gold plated, but you have no problem saying the exact same things about atheism.

Take your own medicine.

Re: POTUS 45.0: It was the best of times. It was the worst of times.

We've been calling him out on it for ages, and he always twists and dodges, and usually spins it into further attacks on atheism "offering nothing of value or substance", or some such twaddle. You're arguing with a brick wall.

It's his personal prejudicial ax to grind. C'est la vie.

I'm glad my kids are done with school. I hope their kids can go to a private.

Trump says he won't go to work till Monday.

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-...work-right-after-little-time?cid=sm_fb_maddow

Donald Trump will be inaugurated on Friday, but he’ll consider his first day on the job to be Monday. The detail emerged after he sat down with British and German journalists over the weekend and offered up his thoughts on a wide range of topics.

“I mean my day one is gonna be Monday because I don’t want to be signing and get it mixed up with lots of celebration,” he said.
