Potsdam vs Elmira

Re: Potsdam vs Elmira

One thing we noticed last night more so than ever was how well EC was rotating, always moving around in the "O" zone, unlike years past where they spent so much time standing around waiting for things to happen.
EC is a much better team than last year, the recent loss to Oswego was not unexpected due to their long "break" between games.
The second part of the season is going to be very interesting.

Better than '08 team?

Better than '08 team?

That team had talent, but after that amazing undefeated streak to start the season, they were .500 the rest of the way. Now on this team, the sophomore class is just phenomenal. I am willing to bet EC will win it all by the Spring of 2012. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it happened this year or next. The question mark for the future will be in the net. McDonald has impressed me in the two games I've seen him play this season (allowed 1 goal?), but it won't be easy filling Tuttle's skates....

Quite the statement about a team that, despite virtually always being a contender, has NEVER won it all

Truly, I hope you're right.

Yes, it's quite a long time to wait 24 hours from the end of one game to the beginning of the next :p

All kidding aside, I don't get this argument. Oswego only had 7 days fewer off than Elmira did. Not to mention, why would a coach schedule so much time between games if he didn't think it would be beneficial to his team? Ceglarski had his reasons and I'm sure they were good ones.

Re: Potsdam vs Elmira

That is how much I believe in this team. This is the most talent I have EVER seen EC put on the ice.

Ever...
