Here's the deal CGK33, after the fiasco with the Canadian financial aid obviously the Bears are up against it this season. All of us Bears fans have two choices here, we can either find excuses to keep expectations low OR we can stand behind the team/staff. I chose the latter.

Six games into their AJHL season the Jr. Wolfpack are wasting no time committing players to the college level for next season. With two players from this season’s roster already committed, the Jr. Wolfpack staff is proud to announce their third commitment. Davidson, Pa native Todd Thomas has committed to Potsdam in the SUNYAC D-III league for the 2012-13 season.

The crafty two way center will be joining the Bears as they look to continue to climb the standings in the powerful SUNYAC. The SUNYAC is known as one of the top D-III leagues in the country and is not an easy place to get recruited too.

"The SUNY is a very tough league. There are a lot of good players and some incredible facilities. This is going to be a terrific opportunity for Todd to succeed on the ice and in the class room. Todd decided to do one more year of juniors with the hope he landed in a situation like this and he has earned it. We are very happy for him and his family. This is a fantastic situation and we wish him the best," said Chris Cerrella.

Thomas marks the 3rd player this season to find a college home and he also becomes the 39th player to commit under Chris Cerrella in his 3 season with the Jr. Wolfpack.

Bears Midnight Madness kicks off the season tomorrow night or Saturday am, depending how you view a clock. Can't wait.

So you could go to the Clarkson - Sacred Heart game, head over to Maxfields for a post game meal and a few cold beverages, and then mosey over to Maxcy for MM??? Seems like a plan to me!

All true except for the Maxfields part.....I gotta take a nap to be ready for this evening. :)

A very fun night was had at Midnight Madness last evening. I won't give away everything that I saw last night, but I will say two things, we're gonna be quicker and much more physical if last night was any indication.

I enjoyed listening to that RadioX, will this be a weekly feature for those of wishing to keep up on Bears hockey? Great work by the way....

The SUNYAC season opener is Friday at Morrisville. Then the home opener against SHNU on Saturday. Can't wait!

I just got the roster myself last night. So, it should be posted somewhere very soon.

I can tell you that there is a player from Australia! Is this the first Aussie NCAA hockey player?

Well the boys had a split this weekend. A tough loss at Morrisville is a tough way to open up league play but from all accounts the outcome could have been different. As far as Saturday's game went, not much to say after beating SNHU 14-2. With Plattsburgh rolling into to town Saturday night, Maxcy Hall should be quite lively.
