Correct...TTT would take the results and do totals from everyone's poll. The way things are around here now I don't know if there would even be 10 users who would do the poll.
How about a poll about restarting the poll?

If I learned anything from my time participating in the "Polls" section of the USCHO Cafe forum, it was that at this point someone needs to include some bad puns about pole/Pole/Pohl etc.How about a poll about restarting the poll?
I think Quinnipiac is for real.
They head to Madison in 5 weeks, we all will find out then for sure. I am looking very forward to it. Hopefully they keep it on rails until then.
Did Wisconsin schedule them on purpose or were they trying to get RPI and just accidentally clicked the team above? Would fit more with their bold out of conference slate of Merrimack and Lindenwood.

Ouch! Haha. UW's not ALL N/C cupcakes.....they played Clarkson at home the year they lost to them in the final. Plus let's be real the WCHA is the best conference in the land so you need a little sugar with the N/C schedule.
Latest Poll is out: https://www.uscho.com/rankings/d-i-womens-poll/
Significant movements (+/-2) this week compared to 11/22:
Minnesota falls 2 from No. 3 to 5
Colgate gains 2, moving from No. 8 to 6
UMD falls from No. 7 to a tie at No. 9
Thanks for sharing the link.
prior to Princeton series I was wondering if NU was ranked too high considering their s.o.s. and early season struggles. Watched about half of NU vs Princeton game 1, NU absolutely dominant over a respected program. They haven’t lost with Mueller back in the lineup. Not sure if they are third, but top 5 seems fair.
Yale is one to keep an eye on. We’ve talked about how programs generally have to win for a while before entering the poll. Oddly Yale didnt go through this skyrocketing to sixth place at one point. In their defense they seem to win by big margins, although Arlan pointed out that some of those margins are over weak teams. The Colgate result happened when they were missing a bunch of players. I like seeing new programs in the top ten, we’ll see if Yale can stick. They are undoubtedly on the rise and it makes the Ivy League play more interesting.
Nice to see Hurst and Penn State receive some votes. Cuse Hurst matchup this weekend is a good one, along with the WCHA border battle incoming.
Quinnipiac at number 4 - that has to be history making too? This is a program that I hear so little about; when they go out west to play Wisconsin it will be a must watch series.
Quinnipiac was this high the year they won the ECAC (15-16).
Still a bit skeptical of NU. The Princeton wins were good, but I don't know that Princeton is that good this year. Maybe as high as 8th, maybe more like 15th?
Yale got in there because they smashed Colgate and after the top 4-5 you can make a decent case for another 5-6 teams for any of those spots. They're a top-5 special teams team and an 8th - 12th 5 on 5 team. Interesting to see where that gets them.
Thanks for the QU history. Forgot about that great year.
I looked a bit more at NU’s schedule... only ranked teams they played were BC and Princeton, both unranked now. Harvard may be ranked if they meet in the bean pot. Yes they are suspect but the Princeton sweep is a feather in NU’s cap considering QU lost to Princeton (even though they should have won) and Colgate lost to QU (even though Colgate should have won). The NU losses were without Mueller in the lineup and they were an NCAA finalist last year...I would rank them as a top 5 team right now.
Was Colgate missing players when Yale crushed them? I’m excited to see Yale in the top ten, noted that they were on the rise prior to the season starting, but they are receiving a different treatment than even QU or UConn as far as sky rocketing in the polls and that’s interesting to me.
my poll for dec 6 is this:
Minn - 2 wins at number1 on the road (I know the shootout is not really a win). Also were on the road all the way in Nashville last week. Nice job handling the grind.
Wisc
OSU
NE
QU
Colgate
UMD - B1G win this weekend! They might not get much credit, since next day was a blow out, but I'm moving them up.
Yale
clarkson - 1 win over a ranked team (Harvard)
Penn State - riding UMD's success, Hurst's split (pickup the RV's Hurst was getting)
Harvard - no wins over ranked teams. The Ice Garden poll says "they are back into the top ten with wins over Union and an OT win over RPI." Not good enough this week imo.
edit: Clarkson belongs above Penn State given their results vs Cuse and SLU compared to Penn State.
