Evening, Lodge. Work has been crazy this week. Figuring new monthly budgets or something. Annnnnnnd, ANOTHER Ice Melt trailer coming in Monday. Hope it's the last one of the season. I think this has been the most we've had delivered EVER. This is our 6th trailer this season (so, 156 pallets, 40 boxes per pallet). On one hand, I have the day off, on the other hand, they rarely receive it in the system the same day, so T-F could end up being a sh*show.
 
Greetings Lodge Peeps. Happy Friday. Today is Employee Appreciation Day apparently. We have this award recognition platform where we can send quick e-cards to anyone in the company for any reason. They actually have two versions of an I Appreciate You e-card. As I did last year, I've sent everyone on my team one, even the four new people that have started in the last three weeks, two of whom I have not even met yet. I also sent some to the Creative Production team with whom I work closely. Take a guess at who has thanked me for sending. And then take a guess as to who on my team sent me one.
 
UPS just delivered a neighbor's vacuum to me (I assume it's a vacuum because it says Dyson). What do I do. They live all the way around the other side of the circle drive (just looked up the address) and I don't feel like driving there or carrying a vacuum over there.
 
I had my second shot. :-) I think that I mentioned when I had the first 4 weeks ago, that Safeway gives the first shot all over the place, but the second is given at three clinics, all at parts of the town which have clinics, namely poor areas. I doubt that this many white people ever would venture there on purpose normally. :-D

Since vacuum cleaners are like brooms, perhaps you could ride on it. ;-)

Seriously, perhaps they would pick it up from you.
 
turns out NaSK was expecting a UPS delivery. He ended up driving to the neighbors to see if an exchange was possible....it was, his item had been delivered to them.
 
Evening, Lodge. 3 day weekend, and the weather will be gorgeous. Could hit SIXTY on Sun and Mon! I am pumped.
 
Took care of my (pointless) vehicle state inspection today. A) its a 2019 model, B) I've driven less than 100 miles in the last 12 months probably. On the plus side, it was under $14.
 
HHT, but the game meant nothing. The Commies to the east won the league title and got the bye for the B1G tourney earlier today.
