Leak is fixed. Turns out it was a blockage in the building's pipe. Heat pump service guy came, told me it wasn't my issue. Got in touch with building management, they sent a sewer and drain guy. Showed up at 5:00pm, drilled a hole in the building's pipe next to the heat pump and snaked it. There was a blockage. As soon as he cleared it, the leak stopped. Huzzah! Now, though, I have to reach out to the management company to see about repairing the damage. The rug is totally destroyed and the wall also has some water staining. I don't want mold to set in. This was a blockage in their pipe that caused this so they should fix it, right?
 
Good Afternoon Lodge! No posts for 5 days??

Opening up the cottage for Auntie les. So far we had a bathroom sink leak, the phone/intertubes were completely out, the phone guy destroyed the dirt road to the cottage by getting stuck and trying to gun his way out, we've had rain every day, most all of the day. Whee!!

And in the good category- the plumber put in a new kitchen faucet so this one turns off! lilnsl came in 3rd in a big race behind a pro and a should be pro.
 
Hi Lodge. Happy Monday. It's grey, dreary, gloomy and foggy here today. Much like many days this summer. It's July 10 and I still have not brought up my beach chair from storage. Because there haven't been very many beach days at all. I'm supposed to go to Cape Cod this weekend but the weather looks crappy so I may re-schedule. I hate wasting vacation days in the summer when I can't do anything.
