Question - can you download a video file onto an iPad? It's not like there's a desktop to download it to, or folders. If I click download, do you think the video will download into my photos? I want to eventually upload it to YouTube so I need to put it somewhere first. My laptop is not an option and I don't want to do it on my work computer (though that could be a last option).

You can download to an iPad. It will be saved somewhere in your gallery (or whatever Apple calls it).

Good Afternoon Lodge!
We were supposed to have T-storms and tornadic activity. Went right round us. My gardens need water.

if any minnesotans are still in here. I'll post to GPL when I can get access but I'm going to be in town next month during the state fair. Looking for info. I'm doing a large midwest swing and i'm budgeting 3 days to MPLS.

Mostly just giving the heads up. I'm not expecting anybody to go out of their way. Just looking for ins and outs on the fair. Recommended breweries. Whether or not mall of america is a waste of time. Plan on doing the ballpark tour if I can, I miss the red sox by one day so it goes. MPLS is large so I'll figure out hotels depending on events and the rest.

The mall is a little cool. Not sure I'd go out of my way. It's.. a mall.

the fair is great. But I suspect it's great because we grew up thinking it's great. But it's worth a wander. I recommend getting the app or web app with a map and find some stuff you really want to do and see there. Browse the food and vendors. I find the best fair visits are ones with some stuff planned but sprinkled between unplanned.

id say for beer people there are like three breweries that are worth a trip to Minneapolis St. Paul alone.
Barrel theory - zero bad beers. Zero mediocre beers.
Falling Knife - tremendous tremendous barrels and barely wines.
Modist and Fair State are excellent.
otherwise black stack and back channel are very good as well. Check Untappd ahead of time. Sometimes one of them basically has just IPAs, which I love but...

Its almost worth a trip to Rochester to get some forager. They'd be #1 or 2 if they were closer.

Good morning Lodge.

Survived the 90+ degree outdoor wedding. Lots of shade, wasn't too bad, cooled down enough by the time there was dancing. Bourbon slushies were a big hit on a hot day. Very refreshing. They also had popsicles, which my daughter had 4 of over the course of the night. Actually had a lot more fun at the wedding than I expected. Glad we went, worth the 4 hour drive each way.

We were supposed to go to the Cincinnati Zoo yesterday, but NaSK had a gout flare up so I wasn't going to make him walk around all day...nor did I want to see if we could rent a wheelchair (he didn't seem interested in that). A little sad 'cause I was looking forward to seeing Fiona the hippo. I had also seen an article that their corpse flower was in bloom this weekend, which would have been intriguing to see/smell.

Good Evening Lodge!

It is Africa hot as mr les would say. We had ZERO rain today. ZERO. Threats of bad storms. Every single one split and went around us. We need rain. A lot.
