Hi Lodge. Hope you all had a nice weekend. Weather-wise it was glorious here - warm, no humidity. Was at the beach as well as my pool. I was able to get through my stack of entertainment publications that had been growing and growing. Now I can start reading a book! I really don’t want to go to work tomorrow.

if any minnesotans are still in here. I'll post to GPL when I can get access but I'm going to be in town next month during the state fair. Looking for info. I'm doing a large midwest swing and i'm budgeting 3 days to MPLS.

Mostly just giving the heads up. I'm not expecting anybody to go out of their way. Just looking for ins and outs on the fair. Recommended breweries. Whether or not mall of america is a waste of time. Plan on doing the ballpark tour if I can, I miss the red sox by one day so it goes. MPLS is large so I'll figure out hotels depending on events and the rest.

Good morning Lodge.

Trying to figure out what to wear to a wedding this weekend. It will be outside at a picnic grounds, dinner at picnic tables. Ceremony, reception, all of it outside, in Kentucky with a predicted weather day of 95 degrees. I was looking forward to celebrating this couple, right up until I saw the weather forecast and that the ceremony is expected to be 45 minutes (Catholic).

Blech. We did that a couple of yrs ago. It was bleeding hot, no breeze and partly outside. I brought a hat to wear with a few flowers on the band. It was not enough. I was wringing wet before the party started. Wear something that lets your feet be mostly bare and a float dress- tent style.

Good evening Lodge!

Monthly check in. Just back from the cottage at the lake. Of course is is now HOT. UGH.
