Mr les was watching Jeopardy instead of the playoffs --- Now it is over we are tuned in to the game and first thing we see is the Dory scoring. Yay?

SPent the day outside- it was 78F. It doesn't seem right to have hockey when we could be at the beach

Wellll, that went well. Own goal in the third. Happily heading to the Lodge country club. I will get the place spruced up for the summer

Welcome to the country club! It’s getting a bit crowded.

I was actually looking forward to going to the Garden this weekend as I made the decision to stay home from the Beanpot. Then BU decided to give up last weekend so now I don’t have to worry about spending the money.

I’m babysitting/dog sitting/house sitting this weekend. My friends are at a conference and their daughter, my goddaughter, is 15 and while she’s not a baby, they didn’t want to leave her alone for five days. So they asked me to stay here. I didn’t realize taking care of the dog was part of the plan. I’m not a dog person. My goddaughter has a cat and she’s taking care of that. Right now we’re doing nothing but the dog needs lunch shortly and then a walk. And then she and I will run to the supermarket because my friends left a few things off my shopping list.

We have spent the day doing nothing much except reconstituting the closet in the bathroom now the door is back on. I baked cookies. We don't know what we are having for dinner. lilnsl is racing tomorrow so we should have something serious with protien and lots of carbs.

mr les watched hockey playoffs from around the country but only a bit of the games from the Gahden. I wonder if he will turn it on at all.

THe Country Club weathered the winter well. Can't wait for the kitchens and cottages to open up

I was at the happy sports table all day Saturday. It was nice.

Part of me wants to go to Regionals, but part of me knows the plan for this weekend is potty training a toddler.
Is it weird that when considering a trip to Allentown, PA a big motivator would be I could stock up on Utz potato chips? I miss Utz chips, the Midwest is dumb.

Not weird. It's an extra perk for traveling to an area for one thing yet there's bonus of something else. But yeah, the potty training of the toddler should take precedence should you need to, you know, travel east in a couple of weeks.

Work pet peeve - I've been getting the same cold call from a guy for the past month or two. Instead of hanging up when I don't answer, this guy leaves a voicemail. But he never says where he is calling from or why. Tell me who you are and what you do and maybe I'll call you back or actually pick up the next time you call.

So, I'm baby sitting/house sitting/dog sitting. I'm not a dog person, never had one growing up, but now I have to walk this dog and feed it. I had a conf call at 12:30 and the dog was jumping up on me. I was also trying to wolf down my lunch at the same time. Had to take her out as soon as the call got over, then feed her when we got back. How do you dog owners manage? Thankfully tomorrow my goddaughter will be home and she can take the dog out for lunch before she heads to school in the afternoon. I have a three hour conference call that goes thru lunch. I can't just hang up for 20 minutes while I walk her.

Hey y’all. It’s been a while, but I hope everyone in here is doing well.

Its been a busy winter, but a great one. Looking forward to the Regionals starting tomorrow. Praying I’ll be at the HHT, but nervous also.

Cheers!

wolverineTrumpet misses the Tech vs. UMD threads. She wants an excuse to talk in 3rd person.
wolverineTrumpet is excited for NCAA hockey tournament, but is sad to not be going to games. Something about having a child and attempting to be a 'responsible adult'. We'll see how long that lasts and how much of her day is spent watching hockey.

Does wT know why the MTU-UMD threads were written in the third person?
