I have been out in the garden all day for the last few days and not paying attention to life. Things are crazy!

Hearing about all the riots, I was worried this morning and rode my bike near home. I wanted to stop to get a pizza on the way home which normally I would eat at a picnic table nearby. Of course the tables are off limits and carrying a pizza on a bike is basically impossible. Well, I wanted to help Make America Grate Again. :D

Today was the bigger fire at the HPESE. While it took a while to get going, it was an unqualified success. It took about 3 hours to burn everything down to nothing. At one point I think I had the flames 10-12 feet high. There’s a few logs in the fire ring right now, but at this point I don’t think I need to watch it like a hawk.

Good Afternoon Lodge!

I have had what the Rube would term a Pile day. I need to go out and walk but other than that I have done squat and I intend to do squat.

Pile Days are great. Heck, even God had a Pile day after he created earth. ;)

I ended up walking way faster than I planned. I am listening to The Lost Symbol (Dan Brown). I read it years ago but I can't remember what happens. It was an intense part and I ended walking minutes faster a mile than usual. :eek:

Last 72 hours before I have 28 pile days. Had a pretty close to perfect day crossing from Mobile to New Orleans. Hard to put into words how fortunate I am to have a view like that from my "office", let alone have it be my career.

Decided to finally put away my winter clothes and shift things to summer clothes. Not sure why. I get dressed to look decent one time a week for church zoom. and that is only the waist up.
