Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

Morning, Lodge-O. Busy night!

White Russians man....

2:25am? You're a maniac! :)

I can't decide if I want Q to win because of MEUSA or Yale to win because then I would feel vindicated. Numb.

I would say that in time you'll appreciate what an amazing, historic year you guys had -- but I'm the guy who still wakes up at night seeing BU's 3OT loss to Northern Michigan in the '91 final. :(

It is still snowing. This weather is seriously putting in a crimp in my plans to have a bonfire tomorrow night. The area around the fire pit was already a mudhole, now it will be a mudhole with 3 inches of slush on top of it, with a dash of standing water.

Just float some gasoline on top of that mudhole; it'll light, no problem.

As the fan of a team who was swept by both Yale and Quinnipiac during the regular season this year, you may all bestow your praises upon me for my league's superiority. ;)

All righty: You're the best league evah!!!! :p :)

PS Mark it must be very lonely at the HHT But I send a huge chocolate milk your way. Enjoy! I am sure it is an incredible feeling if you feel as full inside as I feel empty.
It's not lonely at the HHT at all. I've got all of Bobcat Nation with me!

Thanks for the chocolate milk. Sorry you weren't able to have any yourself, but your team had an incredible run this season and has nothing to be ashamed of.

I don't understand this weather in NYC. Now it's pouring nonstop. Yesterday it was almost 80!

Dude, it was a rains, sleet, and snow mixture all day here yesterday. Now it's just snow today. I can't figure it out either.

Just saw a post on facebook, from huskyfan, there is still 40 inches of snow on the ground in the Keweenaw, and it's still falling.

This spring sucks. Bring on the global warming already, dammit!

I also just checked a snowmobiling message board that I glance at sometimes. The Yoopers are saying all trails north of M28 are still great, and as good they've ever been. About a foot of hard-packed base everywhere with 6-10 inches of soft snow on top. Sounds like quite a few people are planning on heading to the UP to do some snowmobiling this weekend...the 2nd weekend of APRIL! It also sounds like there will be plenty of snow for at least a couple more weeks of riding. Crazy.

Good morning... The eastern contingent was trying to get Monty and I drunk... Mostly Monty... I've been up since 830 but we've all been in lazy Friday mode

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

No, on the other hand I was dead *** tired and fried. I held out 3 minutes longer than Monty.
That happened to me at Final 5. Friday night I just had to go back to the hotel early and sleep.

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

Good morning Lodge. I am not in the best shape. I'm in better shape than earlier, but I believe I've officially hit the "I'm too old for this ****" stage.

Les and Patman - sorry to see it end. It was an interesting game. I said to a friend that I wasn't worried when Yale went up early as I felt that Lowell tended to get stronger as games went on and sure enough, tie game. As an impartial fan, I like to see games at this stage go to OT because its two of the best teams so it should be as even as possible till the very end. Great season for you guys. It was fun to watch these last few weeks. And I do not doubt you will get another shot at it soon. And if it wasn't my school, I was glad to see UML as the HE representative there.

MEUSA, wow. That was a clinic last night. Tomorrow night's game should be fun. Looking forward to it.

LwB - sorry for the loss. I know it sucks and you probably take little comfort in "hey, at least you made it there!" But it is an honest and heartfelt sentiment.

Now I need to get up and shake the cobwebs out of my brain. I have a conference call in 20 minutes.

Premature rejection, RalphPa.

I better get out of here - you guys didn't like my last poll/pol/pole/Pole/Pohl. Not It!!

Re: Poll: Rep Retirement Lodge #165: Spring Has Sprung!

Had lunch at mookies favorite pizza joint - jake's in rostraver near his high school. Called the brother who left the barracks to meet us. Then went across the street to golf with the boys... Bubby met us on the 4th hole- guess no bad guys doing anything nasty today like eating all the donuts :p
