Andrew Rossy, Montreal, QC; 5’ 11” 190
--Andrew comes on board after spending last season with the Cumberland Grads in the CCHL. He is a puck moving defenseman with an excellent first pass. He will not be afraid to join the rush and use the great shot that he has. Coaches look for him to add depth to our blue line.
Chris Taff, Omaha, NE; 6’ 160
-- Chris comes to us from the Odessa Jackalopes of the NAHL where he spent just over a season playing. He is a two-way defenseman who will be able to move the puck up ice. Chris is a good decision maker and knows when it is right to join the rush. Coaching staff is excited to see how Chris transitions to the college game.
Ayrton Valente, Woodbridge, ON; 5’ 10” 180
--Ayrton joins us after finishing his junior career with the Mississuaga Chargers of the OJHL. His biggest attribute will be the speed he brings to our blue line. He is an offensive defenseman with an appetite for joining the rush. The coaches hope to see him help the defensive point production along with improving his defensive play everyday.
Paul Fregeau, Sylmar, CA; 6’ 2” 200
--Paul finished his junior career in the USHL playing for the Des Moines Buccaneers. Paul brings a wide variety of junior experience to the roster having played all over the country. His size and a physical presence up front will be what his biggest strength is. The coaching staff will look for him to bring energy to any situation he is put in.
Brandon O’Quinn, Trenton, ON; 6’ 175
--Brandon played his last two seasons with the Kingston Voyageurs of the OJHL. He finished his junior career with a strong statistical year. He is a strong two-way forward that is no stranger to the front of the net. The coaches expect to be able to look for him to bring leadership and consistency each night.
Matt Quilty, Midland, ON; 6’ 1” 180
--Matt joins the team after captaining his Caledonia (GOJHL) team to the Sutherland Cup. While not the flashiest of players, Matts will to do all the little things right will help us. He is a two-way forward that can play all 3 positions up front. The coaches will look for Matt to be a presence in the paint each night.
Connor Toomey, Billerica, MA; 5’ 10” 160
--Connor comes as a transfer from Merrimack College where he spent three seasons. He was highly recruited here before he started at Merrimack. The coaches will look to him to help the offensive productivity of our team. He has a good skill set and has a knack for the net. Small but quick will be a threat to make a play anytime he is on the ice.
Ryan Hubbard, Brockton, MA; 5’ 9” 180
--Ryan played his junior career with the Boston Bandits of the EHL. He was able to lead his team to the league semi-finals of the inaugural season. His biggest strength is his ability to move in the crease. He is very aggressive and confident between the pipes, which allows him to play bigger than he is. Coaches are happy to have Ryan and believe he will bring a compete level that may not be matched.
Brady Rouleau, Fort Macloed, Alberta; 6’ 2” 185
--Brady finds himself at Plattsburgh after a short stay at Quinnipiac University. He is a big and technically sound goalie that is a great addition between the pipes. The coaches
look for Brady to bring more D1 experience to the goaltending trio. He is expected to battle for the starting role.
