Plattsburgh State Hockey 2011-12 - The work and progress continue..

Re: Plattsburgh State Hockey 2011-12 - The work and progress continue..

Sure, when it comes to winning percentage, you want to look just at DIII, but when it comes to the W count, you want to look at the total. Whatever makes Emery look the lesser of the two, right?

Ahh, anyone worth 2 cents could win in the ECAC-East :p

Re: Plattsburgh State Hockey 2011-12 - The work and progress continue..

but when refering to a college, or university, they aren't going to consider you an alumni unless you completed your program's requirements.

Although I did not graduate from Oswego (I have a degree from another University), I am listed in their alumni directory, frequently get correspondence from them indicating my status as an alumnus, and am invited to all official alumni functions. What you say makes sense but I am not sure it is entirely accurate.

In checking with the "Alumni" office, the Plattsburgh office only requires that you pay 8 semesters of 'Alumni Dues" and your in, so I guess a "wanted to be - but found "better things" can still be considered alumni. Cool, since I have taken classes from the time the Plattsburgh Air Force Base brought in visiting instructors (I believe it was through the Community College of the Air Force), I guess I am also alumni of UCLA, TCU, Texas Wesleyan and ---- RIT.

Is Plattsburgh wearing their reds at home all season?

I noticed they wore them at the Cardinal Classic. Anyone got the scoop?

Re: Plattsburgh State Hockey 2011-12 - The work and progress continue..

Random Statistic of the Day: Plattsburgh is first in Division-III hockey in penalty killing at 41 for 43 at 95.3 percent. PSUC is also second nationally (behind Norwich) in penalty minutes per game at 7.5 per contest.

Plattsburgh always does a few home games eith their Reds to let the home fans have a chance to see the away jerseys. Im shocked you didn't notice the whites the other games on the net cast...oh thats right Plattsburgh is stuck in the 90's.....
funny stuff

Know why for the Babson game?

Babson only brought their whites to the Tourney. No other reason than that.

In the past, Plattsburgh would typically wear their reds when they played Potsdam at home. Don't know if that will hold in a couple weeks though.

The night of the Potsdam game, Plattsburgh will be wearing a special edition, one time only BLACK jersey that will be auctioned off after the game. Emery hates black jerseys so I'm really surprised that he agreed to this. I've been asking him about a black jersey for a few years now and always turns me down! hopefully they are a hit and it's something they can do as an alternate jersey in the future.

The Plattsburgh girls' black jerseys are sharp. They look like Team Canada when they come onto the ice.

As much as I HATE to say it, those black jerseys wil look awesome I bet

I've always liked a black jersey, even if it's just an alternate one that is only warn from time to time. I thought Oswego looked sharp when they had them a few years back and I love Morrisville's black road jerseys. and yes, the Plattsburgh woman's team looks good in their blacks!

Hey there is a small group of us going to the game tonight in Middlebury. Does any one know of the roads or the possibility we can get updates just in case the game gets postponed or canceled?
