Re: Plattsburgh State Hockey 2010-11

Going to take a near perfect second half by us and Plattsburgh to drop a couple of games.

They have us in SOS and as well as a commanding 2-0 in head to head right now.

Never trust the NCAA not to cook the numbers in an odd way...

Wow we just keep losing kids left and right... It's kinda worrying... I hope emery has big plans in recruiting this year because we dnt hve alot of depth

I don't really see how it's any different than any other year. Losing five players. Yes, the top two current scorers, but not losing a whole lot of points with the other three and still have the likes of Jobb, Docking, Kudroch for next year. I'd say the recruiting isn't as big of a deal as any other year.

and Jensen. Plus I was impressed with the Niagara transfer. If there's one thing I've learned in 17+ years of following D-III hockey....Plattsburgh is ALWAYS going to be good and there at the end.

You can second guess them all you want and they'll always at least make it to the conference finals.

Anyone know when the last time Plattsburgh missed the conference finals was?

Satim and Clarke are certainly studs but there is nothing stopping Coach Emery from recruiting a class to Plattsburgh that's on par with the Oswego class of 2013 or the class of 2009.

And was that even SUNYAC at the time? or was that ECAC?

Yes, if I remember right it was one of Fredonias back to back runs.91-92 was the last ECAC I think. We were sent to Elmira for the conf playoffs, left the hardware on the ice. Unless it was 92-93 when we went to UWRF for the final four. NORM?!?!?!?
