Plattsburgh at Middlebury-It's Groundhog Day!

Re: Plattsburgh at Middlebury-It's Groundhog Day!

That could hurt this chances.

Not that he's getting any votes anyway.

Must have been funny for anyone who paid to watch the game.
I am sure he will get over it. He scored the GWG anyway.

Platty's loss does help their SOS and their OWP:D

Re: Plattsburgh at Middlebury-It's Groundhog Day!

Not sure I count as an oswego fan, but I couldn't care less who won, I don't like either team in general terms ;)

Since you "don't like either team in general terms", I wouldn't count you as an Oswego fan. :p

Re: Plattsburgh at Middlebury-It's Groundhog Day!

I was referring to Plattsburgh and middlebury ;)

no problem with either program players or coaches, but for rooting purposes....no thanks

Re: Plattsburgh at Middlebury-It's Groundhog Day!

You "Wego fans just loved this game Huh?:D

Always love when Platty loses...just as I'm sure they love when Oswego loses....

This lose does hurt Oswego's SOS and OWP though :(

The last couple of years, this was an issue. But thanks to our team's solid play this season it is nice to know there is a lot of room for error. Barring a meltdown of epic proportions (ie. losing out) this team will be in the tourney. So what if we are not the #1 seed or have to play a "play-in" game. It beats sitting home:)

Re: Plattsburgh at Middlebury-It's Groundhog Day!

You're right Skippy...lame prediction ...Midd won. Frankly I thought Plattsburgh had more to offer..I am sure you are infallible....kudos. That said, the Cardinals losing is quite enjoyable. Puts them and the NESCAC in perspective when they lose to a third place team.
As for Charlie...good on him. He deserves to play. As I have said...a good young man and a skilled guy. The number two scoring Dman in the NESCAC last year and tied for 11th overall. . One game...one point. Will be interesting to watch. I guess Coach decided he needed those points. Also interesting.

Doncheery....I'm amazed at how many times you get Chazz's name wrong. And if your excuse is that you think Charlie is his real first name, then again, it amazes me how wrong you are. One would think that you could get his name right every now and then, considering how familiar you claim you are with him and his situation.

OK...let's see...his father ( guys he trained are on Harvard, StLaw, Clarkson, Lake Superior, Union, etc etc ) trained my son with his son ( Charlie ) every summer for maybe ten years at Rapid Hockey here in Montreal....Karel played pro in Europe...then for the AHL Sherbrook Canadiens...signed by Serge Savard...was offered a contract by Vancouver Canucks but was making more in Sherbrook so turned it down. Our sons play together Monday, Wed, and Fri every summer with Dl, Dlll, AHL and Major Junior guys in a great shinny game at Rapid Hockey. Also in a 3 on 3 league on half size ice with NCAA, NHL, and Major Junior guys.
In Montreal nobody calls Charlie .."Chazz" ...that is a name he picked up at Tabor Prep ( where he played with a bunch of other Montreal guys) or Midd. In fact his Mom Pam, calls him Charlie. Is that ok with you?? Are we good now?
Basically I consider the family and the young man as friends. I believe he got screwed. I stood up and said something. If I am wrong...prove it to me, ( Nobody has) if you can't...as anatomically difficult as it might be...u know what to do.
