Middlebury played well, but just as much, sounds like Plattsburgh had THE worst performance they've had this year...ugly game for them...yes even worse than the Potsdam tie, bc this stretched for the entire 60 mins.
Concerning...this Plattsburgh team tonight is not an NCAA team...they need to get better...

The Panthers played extremely well. The first period may have been the best they have played this season. It may have even been part of the reason that Plattsburgh didn't look so hot tonight. Its a good thing that the MIDD penalty kill was great, and that Jon Yanchek was outstanding in goal because it sure looked like the officials tried their best to keep Platty in the game.Two calls (a charging and a boarding) were unbelievably bad.
It was interesting to see Chaz Svoboda on the ice tonight. He didn't get a lot of ice time, but did manage an assist. Doncheery maybe can use that as ammunition to defend his lame prediction

You're right Skippy...lame prediction ...Midd won. Frankly I thought Plattsburgh had more to offer..I am sure you are infallible....kudos. That said, the Cardinals losing is quite enjoyable. Puts them and the NESCAC in perspective when they lose to a third place team.
As for Charlie...good on him. He deserves to play. As I have said...a good young man and a skilled guy. The number two scoring Dman in the NESCAC last year and tied for 11th overall. . One game...one point. Will be interesting to watch. I guess Coach decided he needed those points. Also interesting.
