Penn State

Re: Penn State

Great news on the players taking part in NHL development camps! Penn State has always had a few in past seasons but up to 15 current, future and alumni this year.

Vegas native Kenny Brooks is at the VGK camp. Tommy Olczyk had signed a one year contract with Rockford

Re: Penn State

Hockey is right around the corner can't wait to see which Vets will have a career year and if any freshmen can step up and make an impact.

Re: Penn State

Good solid leadership named as the leaders for Penn State. I can't wait for this year to start!

Re: Penn State

I don't believe SLU is charging for video, unless one watches an archived video of a game. Please be aware, though, that SLU doesn't have video replay. There is no center ice scoreboard, as the roof at Appleton (a rink that was built in 1951, but is beautiful and with great sight lines) is too low.

UM and PSU fans heading to the NC: enjoy your trip. You will be surprised when you see the football field (not fields). SLU's seats 1,500-2,000 and CCT doesn't have football. SLU Football is at Union on Sat.

I really enjoyed my trip to PSU with five other SLU fans two seasons ago. Will go there again in a heartbeat.

Re: Penn State

Awesome job Penn State anytime you can go into Minnesota and steel a win to start the Big 10 season it will get you off on the right foot. Looks like the new leadership on the team has the new freshmen buying into the program and learning what it takes to play at this level.

Re: Penn State

Nice win last night in OT hopefully this gives us a confident boost to get back on the right track.

Re: Penn State

Good Job Penn State hope you can close this series out tonight remember the hardest game to win is the last one, the Gophers will be laying it all on the line tonight.

Re: Penn State

Awesome weekend boys rest up for the road show next weekend, no one would have predicted 4 straight wins over the gophers. That has to put you into the tournament.

Re: Penn State

Yep, that should do it and s they are hosting, they will be placed in Allentown. I don't see them falling much in the Pairwise if they lose next week to ND.

great. wasnt sure if penn state as a host in allentown meant they were going to go there if they werent good enough to get a 1 seed, which they clearly will not get.

Re: Penn State

I looked at the map and I wondered why, if Penn State will be hosting a regional, they would have chosen to put it in the PPL Center in Allentown, rather than the equally nice Giant Center in Hershey, considerably closer to State College.

But now I see that the Giant Center is booked for the PIAA high school basketball championships that weekend.

Too bad for hockey fans in the Harrisburg area. :(

Re: Penn State

I'm a little late but congratulations on pimp-smacking goldie.

Oh and beat rudy on Saturday so we don't have to go down there next weekend (assuming we beat suckeye Saturday). It'd be nice to hold one more game in Yost.
