Re: PC - A new start and a new venue

A new goaltender for the Friars.

Over The Boards ‏@OTBPuckWatch 33m
95 G Hayden Hawkey (@OmahaLancers ) commits to Providence. Having a great season for the Lancers, adds to already deep crease in Providence.

Mike McMahon ‏@MikeMcMahonCHN 26m
On Hayden Hawkey - '95 G that committed to PC - he'll either enroll in 2014 or 2015. Basically it depends on Gillies, per source.

I lean more towards hockey - but I was at MSG to watch the basketball team hang on against St Johns. And tomorrow, I'll be at the Coffin. As if you didn't know I'm weird.

From seeing Leaman's comments except for the start he was not overly pleased with their play. Most likely he will have them paying more attention to details and not be so laid back tomorrow

One thing about Nate, he is never happy with them when they win and never too hard on them for a loss...

True....I am sure it was one reason he pulled this team out of their nose dive

Obviously I didn't the other 3 games, but it would seem the 5 bye teams were all sluggish last night, BC was clearly off UML came on late, a UNH NU game where 2 of the better offensive teams scored 1 goal total, and our rather laid back effort. Will be interesting how these teams play with a game under their belt

Yes but the clock in both those games seemed sooooo slow
Especially when the bouncy ball team stops scoring when they get double digit leads. Criminy.

I expect another close game. PC hasn't swept a home series since 1996 against BC.

Yeah and you are in the house so that is

The last five minutes was rough, but we're winning.

This will be tough.

Up by 3. :)

What will be more interesting, the Maine reaction to all the penalties or the guy who was screaming at them when they got off the ice?

Re: PC - A new start and a new venue

Three straight years to the Garden. Thank you Mr. Leaman. Looking forward to next weekend. Just win Friday night gentlemen.
