I know someone said this about another game and I don't know who, but here goes.

Russia would do better if they played "Empty Net" in goal.

I'll give you the first, but against Canada our defense was horrid. They weren't too sharp against the Swiss either.

Here's to hoping Sweden can win tonight and then beat Canada on Friday.

Well, against the Swiss they blocked a ton of shots. That's a part of the defense and frustrates Canada.

They've been blocking a lot of shots, but they gave up a whole mess of odd man breaks against an offensively challenged Swiss team.

Russia can't handle the physical play of Canada - anywhere on the ice.

i'd bet a majority of olympic viewers are watching their first hockey game ever.
