Well Vonn falls during the slalom portion of the combined. Likely would have gotten a medal of some kind had she been able to finish (she did fall back a bit in time and would likely have slipped down a spot or two.

2 goals for Marleau, 1 for Heatley, and one for some Swiss guy that scored while I was watching a commercial.

I don't mind missing the couple of seconds of action (ie: the missed goal) because the IOC doesn't partake in TV timeouts. It's actually quite nice to have hockey games not take four hours to play out.

The referees will not allow anything from this game but a Canadian win if they value their lives. The only thing that's missing are the poo flingers.

Milbury, Marleau was facing away from the puck because he had to go cover the wide open guy at the empty net because Pronger was too busy being Pronger and getting penalties to do his job.

No wonder it's taken years for the Islanders to get out the hole you shoved them in.

As nice as it would be to see the Canucks wilt under the pressure, a loss really doesn't mean anything if they win Sunday. They'll still get a bye. Still, it would be fun to see them step on their cranks!

They're going to be ticked regardless. Outside of the Russians, I doubt there's anyone they take more seriously. Probably why the other European countries give them such a headache.

Sadly this doesn't seem to be an option. The WOrlds were in Lowell a few yrs back and Scotland won (yippee!!) We were sitting with thier fans and of course Scotland is awesome anyway. In a drought b/w Olympics
