Oswego State Lakers 2024-25...young guns a'blazin....Let's Go Lakers...

Even with how this men's championship is turning out for us Plattsburgh alumni/fans its been a blast to be here for the first time. Everyone has been welcoming and nothing nasty even though I'm wearing my colors, just some good natured jibes....I'm in the away bench section with the red giant Cardinal hoodie if anyone wants to say hi IRL...

Gotta say no one could have guessed what happened in the first. Just crazy. Played very solid for the rest of the game. Played our game all the way. Didn't fall into stupid retaliation penalties. Showed lots of composure. Don't know we are playing in the big dance. All I know is you have to be in it to win it. Congratulations to the Lakers and do the SUNYAC PROUD.

I never thought that this team out of all of them would win a SUNYAC yet here we are. You know it's a great season when Platty fans are complaing on facebook about "Oswego shit fans" shame about the women's though they really deserved it and they got the short end of the shaft

Oswego Women had home ice for chanpionship game, got outshot 28-17, didn't score, and got outplayed for a lot of the game. Please explain: "shame about the women's though they really deserved it and they got the short end of the shaft" unless you mean missing the tournament which boils down to weak SOS. They need to look at the NC portion of their schedule. All the wins against weak opponents won't help in the NPI. As I was advised by Pres on the women's forum, SOS is king in college hockey.

I was at both games yesterday. That was my first woman's game since Linda Cohn was between the pipes. Coach Digby has done a great job and has the ladies relevant. Nice to see. They should be very proud of where the program is. SOS certainly helps for sure. Double-edged swored. As far as the nightcap: WOW!! Never seen a first period like that!!!! We played more conservative the rest of the way but . . . The intensity of the game was incredible and the crowd was amazing. Looks like Hamilton Saturday?

Yes there should be a link on Hamilton's schedule. They're broadcast kinda sucks though because its one camera in a corner so trying to see the far side is like finding a needle in a haystack

What a game sat night vs the birds, who would have thought a 5-0 first period...Coasted the rest of the way and played smart with only one bad penalty at the start of the third..Looks like the boys are headed to Indiana for a tilt vs Trine, who had a great season as well should be interesting...Great to see many old and new faces both at the game and at The Blueline party after the game, big shout out the the Blueline Club ,best booster club in D3 hockey ...Hats off to the student body and local residents who packed the place well over 3000...no days off boys ....Let's Go Lakers!!!!..p.s. as for the women great season and the smokie room sucks!!!!

We are excited for this young team. Should be a great experience traveling to Indiana. Not so much for us older fans. 523 miles

well have a safe trip out west, wish we could go, but with all the volleyball travel, gotta sit this one out...Let's Go Lakers!!!!!

pretty pointless at this moment in the season but were back in the top 15 for the 1st time since nov 20th 2023. feels good to be back

No smokie room anymore. Oswego women needed to win that game to get in and they didn't. The NPI numbers make it very cut and dry and Oswego women's SOS ultimately hurt them in the end. The series with Manhattanville in particular sticks out.

Kudos for the Lakers...congrats on winning the SUNYAC. I'm guessing a championship may have looked like a long shot at some points this season....but your boys pulled it off. Best of luck in the tourney...

Well, the defense remembered to bring the clothesline and left Milberg hanging out to dry two or three too many times. A win-able game squandered.

Next year.... (at least we got the SUNYAC while we still could)

A great bunch of young men on this team. Played well as a team all year and with the Freshman having a year under their belts this will be a fun team to watch next year. Gave Trine a good run and was competitive most of the game. Congratulations to Trine and best of luck at the Cooler.
