It's official,Mr. Sports has proclaimed Oswego as hands down Best hockey town, atmosphere in ALL of cawledge Hawkey....You can read the article on this USCHO site....Nice job Lakers we won something
Oswego leads Buffalo State 4-0 in the third.
Plattsburgh kept trailing Middlebury by a goal and kept tying the game. So appropriately the game ended 3-3. This despite Plattsburgh outshooting the Panthers by an astounding 48-17.

Hey everyone:
A few recruits incoming for next season:
Cal Schell (goaltender from Flin Flon in the SJHL; brother of Oswego women's hockey defender Lauren Schell)
Drake Semrad (defenseman from the Richmond Generals of the USPHL)
Lex Friesen (forward from the Richmond Generals of the USPHL)
Kind of miss Remy being around this weekend.....
It wasn't pretty against Cortland, but the Lakers got the job done 5-3. Broughman netted a hat trick, but it won't be easy against Fredonia tonight.
Lakers slowly climbing the rankings (34 votes last week, three shy of Top 15) and the pairwise (though I'm a staunch opponent. Just win the league, and have it guaranteed).
Agree the team has been coming together, however, how many powerplay O zone penalties can one team take?
In relation to penalties, while there weren't a ton tonight against Fredonia (a 3-2 win for Oswego State), a lot of them were undisciplined/"unnecessary" penalties. Lakers sneak out of there with a win for a big six points on the weekend.
As of now, they sit at No. 10 in the PairWise. Might be able to crack the Top 15 with some other key losses this past week.
Also with the SUNYAC: Geneseo wins 12-2 over Potsdam, and Plattsburgh wins 4-3 over Brockport -- big weekend coming up.
A quick key to the next game--no penalties. We will need to play it clean against Genny, no 5 minute majors, or it will get out of hand quickly.
