Well the weather is cooperating; 2 - 3 inches of snow so far today to help kick off "Whiteout" week!!!! Is it Friday yet?

Cards have been playing without leading scorer (at the time) freshman Luke Baleshta and their top D-man Preston Kaye. Hopefully both will be back this coming weekend for the big test. Cards know what they are getting in to this weekend even though a lot of them haven't been to CC before. The fact that we won there last year is a big monkey off our backs. The formula for the Cards is simple: Stay the heck out of the box, control the puck in offensive zone and get Cadieux to remind people of Hince!

Primelink was kind of disappointing for us. Should have beaten Middlebury. Bad second period. But, shut down a real good St. Thomas team. We have Oswego, Cortland and Norwich in next 3 games to finish out semester. 2 out of those 3 would be great!

Yes a senior heavy team vs a less experienced platty but they do have plenty of oswego experience where needed, and as stated by the admiral, they got the monkey off their backs...Platty will have to stay out of the box as the Oz PP can be killer, but on the same tip oz must stay out as well....netminding should be stellar as both goalies have proved in the past they can carry the load.Platty looked fast vs 2 fast teams in the Primelink who will be there in the end for sure,,,I think it will come down to which teams defense can move the puck up and out of their defensive ends....LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE......ok whats the rules on when u can start the Oz vs Platty thread...ps Yes both have good tests friday as well

Rankings are out - Lakers remain #1....3 of the next 4 games against ranked teams - 11-30vPotty, 12-1vPlatty(7), 12-7vUtica(10), 12-8@Hobart(6) - we will know much about this team on the morning of December 9th than we do now....

ugh at Hobart in that __it hole, I never liked playing there...dont think anyone does

In the other poll, it's a whole lot closer between Oswego and Norwich.

ow yea reminded me of the rink we played in when I went to prep school,perhaps thats why I hated the cooler,heck Romney was warmer:eek:

its been said b4 ,polls dont mean much, but it does put that target on your back, and its fun to read the Utica thread when they stress about it:D

Bakdraft I do remember the Lakers playing Hobart and the snow fell into the rink. As for being colder than Romney I can remembering standing in Romney many nights wishing that they would open the doors to let the heat in and the humidy out. And the little bottle of warmth didn't do any good either.
Will you be there this weekend? If so I will see you for the Platty game.

There are lots of new followers in the Utica thread, like the new Adrian fans were a few years ago. That is odd considering that Utica started before Adrian, too

I think it's great that other posters join in when their teams are on a high. That doesn't prevent we chest-pounders from Oswego, Norwich and Plattsburgh from telling each other how good we are!!!

You guys definitely will know more about your team after December 9th.

I think Utica will though too after they play Oswego at the Campus Centre the 7th.

I hope you guys are ready though next Friday when Utica comes to town ...We have a 55 seater coach bus coming full of Utica fans, just to make the game a bit more interesting :rolleyes::cool: (And I'm doubting they'll be completely sober) ;)
