Remy, his point is that there is a segment of the Oswego fan base that regards any win that isn't convincing the equivalent of a crushing loss. Get a couple of those, and they are ready to replace the coach.

I will admit when I first started watching games up there back in 04 that was my feeling but I smartened up.

And not to stir the pot :) but Oswego only beat Brockport 3-2 at Tuttle the year they won it all.

Is there anyone that would have guessed that after games against Cortland, Elmira, Brockport and Geneseo...that Cortland and Brockport would have been the "tough" games?

A win is a win. I wish these n00bs would realize that you aren't going to win 10-1 every night. The season is long and teams will usually give Oz their best because of their success.

Honestly, I'm more impressed that Cortland and Brockport, traditionally very bad teams, gave the Lakers such a good game. It just shows that Oswego can't take anyone lightly or they could get burned.

This team has the potential to be scary good. 10 goals by 10 different players? That's balance. That's like comparing a basketball team that had 7 players scoring in double figures. There are so many offensive weapons on this team. Hare is playing great. It's going to be a fun season.

didnt expect genny to rollover like that,also think the lakers finished very well yesterday,didnt see to many oddman rushes vs Oz either which is nice ..overall great win,long season ahead.....

I think that there will be a lot of parody in the SUNYAC this year. I don't think it will play out with Cortland and Brockport being 3 and 4 in the conference, but things will sure be very interesting this year. Those two teams have definitely caught up to the likes of Genny and Freddy.
