Rumor was that he wasn't in class on Monday because he was in the hospital. Just a rumor. The injury might be pretty bad.

I hope Coach finds a shaman to do something to chase the injury bug away. I can't remember when a Laker team was hit with so many injuries throughout a whole season. On the positive of the injuries, many players have stepped up this year and made big contributions. This has made the Lakers a very well rounded team.

Badham was along the glass for the whole game on Saturday with no crutches or anything that I could see on his leg. But, like you said (I have the pictures to prove it) the way he went down did not look good. I would think we get Brownie back this weekend, but I would definitely say he will be back for the WNY road trip. Carr would probably be back for that as well.

50 in Green Bay today. The 5-9 inches of snow that's coming tonight won't be good for the greens though.

Right now, with the win against Geneseo, Oswego is in a pretty good place for the SUNYAC standings. Geneseo and Plattsburgh still have to play each other, so one of them is likely to lose (unless there's a tie).
Assuming that Oswego wins out until the final game of the regular season (the platty game) and that Plattsburgh does the same, that final game will decide the regular season champion. If genny can knock off platty though in a couple weeks and oswego wins out, they can lose to Plattsburgh in the last game and still be the regular season champion.
So right now, I find myself rooting for genny for the sake of lowering the pressure for the final game of the season. Then again, when the pressure's high, perhaps that's when Oswego will shine.
EDIT: If there were a tie in the genny-platty game, then platty would be 2 points behind us for the last game of the season meaning if platty beats oswego then there will be a tie at the top of the standings and platty would win the tie-breaker with a 2-0 record against us.

After watching the game Saturday night it is VERY important to be regular season champs. You will want to avoid the possible 2 vs 3 game in the semi-finals. This is a 3 team race with top 3 being head and shoulders above the rest. I don't want to be looking down on the rest of the SUNYAC of facts are facts, just look at the standings other than the top 3 nobody else has a winning record.

I'd also root for Geneseo to win out so they get ranked by the NCAA, that would give us two more wins over ranked teams, which would increase our overall NCAA ranking.

Though there are only eight returning for next year, I think they are a good core to build on. With that said, I do not believe next season will be what the fans are used to seeing the past few seasons. Titanic as one of the Captain's next year?

Next yr???????????? WOW it will be interesting to see who else he recruits, he has a few so far but many more to get, as for returners,Titanic seems to be a front runner for a spot with the C/A...

If current trends continue, check out the who's who in the OJHL (and specifically the Oakville Blades) and that will tell you what players Oswego can expect to recruit. Oswego already has 3 recruits from the OJHL for next year. More are likely coming soon:

That whole north weekend won't be easy for them. Playing Potsdam at Massena Arena will be no picnic!

The Western trip playing at Buffalo State will be no picnic as well! Buffalo has, and will play Oswego tough in their own barn.

Titanic is certainly making a good case for wearing a "C" next year but wouldn't count Badham out of that discussion. I'm going to say it will be Titanic and Badham though as the captains next year and those would be two great choices. Like others have said we have a solid but small core of returning players and hopefully the new guys coming will be able to add some firepower right of the gate like back during this graduating classes freshmen year (after the big turnover of my senior class in 09). But, we have a lot of work yet to do and things to worry about before next year. It is an interesting discussion that is on the back burner though.
