A very poor showing in the championship game. Looked like the players were looking to far ahead to lifting the trophy. Henson must still be full of Christmas cheer for he was way off his game. In a tourney why change goalies if you are in the championship game. Isn't the goal to win it and not play with the lines and goalies???? Yet again a classic Oswego loss to a lower caliber team. Lets play down to them and not play our game. Absolutely no physical play yesterday. Congrats to Middlebury for Win for they deserved it.
Hope next weekend tourney has a better outcome.

We were at the Akwesasne Casino and saw a post on Facebook......How the Hell did that happen ! I have watched a lot of Midd games on NSN and there is no way I would have ever "THUNK" it !

Back from the OBX,well looks like a nice showing in game 1 but a close loss to a team that showed up to win in the Midd team.....Half way thru the season,and looking pretty good... I would think we will still see the goalie rotation,but would like to see Richer player the bigger games and keep Hansem sharp with others..Best to all for the new year......I guess no new players and no departures??

any idea why we only played 5 dmen vs Midd. ?? and did it cost us at all?? guys hurt/discipline stuff??

First time since the Marano Center opened I am going to miss a game... I am not going out in this! I hope all the teams made it safely but I don't imagine there will be much of a crowd tonight. Hopefully Saturday will be better.

Wow,we are at 8 degrees here in Orange County,60 miles outside NYC with a stiff 30/40mph wind,I am sure Oz trumps that weather and is making Oswego cold again,at least you can watch the great show that WTOP puts on.

It's not too bad here at the college we drove from Southwest Oswego without issue. Barn burner Manhattanville and Hobart to OT

A win setting up a good game tomorrow vs Manhattanville who looked really strong bs Hobart.. Skidmore provided more excitement than expected. I hope we can rise to our own level and stay there starting tomorrow and carry that mindset into SUNYAC play. Thanks to the kids who cut into their break to produce the game on WTOP10 and WNYO. Much appreciated.

I'll say Skidmore is better than the record shows, they would trounce Middlebury I'd say, but then again so should have we. They had close games when they played Hobart aswell 4-2, and then 3-2 in Geneva.

Nice win, some pretty shots for goals,and nice pass by Zizek to Spink for the ENG,showed leadership qualities to me on that play.Ricer made some great saves as well,kept us in when needed..M'ville will be a tough test,they tied ST Norbert and lost to them in OT in a weekend series in ST N. they will be much better than their record shows.Props to the WTOP kids who cut short their break.Thanks:p

Anyone else surprised we couldn't land one D transfer to round us out. We're already down 1 and it's showing. God for bid we go down another.

From what I understand,coaches cannot contact the players,those players who wish to transfer must initiate the process,are there ways around that,perhaps? I know when I transfered from Elmira to Oswego coach Unger didnt initiate the contact,but I had been recruited before that.

Great game last night Hobart and MHV. The MHV team is a lot better than their record. Hobart played very well . Ended as you know in a shoot out. MHV is a huge team, 6 Swedes that are big and all can skate. We need to play better, less mistakes tonight.
We were in Middlebury last week and I believe that Skidmore is actually a stronger team. The difference in both games was our goalie. Richer was very good last night. A friend on campus in meteorology stated with the wind 25 to 35 , the wind chill factor was 30 to 40 below.
That being said, it was a lot warmer in the rink than it ever was at Romney

Newzjunky had pics of a bad wreck at Tinker Tavern Rd exit earlier today. Originally from Carthage, so I follow the weather in the area.
