I know its early, but when is everyone planning to get to the Campus Center for the Oswego/Plattsburgh tilt? Last year was ugly!

I noticed in the box score that Nick Rivait played on sat, any idea on how he played that was only his 4th game hope he pans out to be a good one??

He was solid but he didn't look as good as he had in his other games, he had a few soft plays but got better as the game went on. I think he will be a good one especially if he is able to play with Gertsakis in the future. They looked really good as a defensive pair against Cortland so that will be something to keep an eye on next year.

i got there at 6:55 last year walked right in (no line) and found a pair of decent seats right away.

How many people were in front of you when you got there 4 hours early?

ok good to hear it wasnt a really bad ugly.......Ill be there a hr early for sure, hope the refs come take a warm-up skate so I can warm-up my vocal cords as well......I really hope nothing Upsetting:p happens this weekend so we can go into that game with both teams battling for 1st

Sorry, I wasnt clear. I meant the wait in line. Actually, we didnt wait in line, we waited until the line got smaller. We watched the women's game from the lobby (Oswego vs. Elmira) while we were waiting. I was afraid we would get crappy seats because of all the students in line and stuff...but when we got in we got good seats in section 53, kinda like what Remy said. The only problem I had with the whole thing last year is that we were told the students were in a separate line and everyone else had their own line. They lied. I know better this year.

Technically there IS a student entrance and a non student entrance. The problem is that the two entrances are about 10 feet apart. So when there are 500 people in line, there's no separation.

Was a bit surprised to not see Rodrigues winning the SUNYAC Player of the Week award. I know he only played 1 game, but he did have 6 points including 5 goals.

I can't remember if McLaughlin won the award when he had his 5 goal game against Buff State back in '05 and I couldn't find it when searching on Google - does Russell's This Week in the SUNYAC column go back that far? He did add another 3 points, including a goal, against Fredonia the following night. I'd be surprised if an 8 point weekend didn't earn him the accolade.

Either way, it was a great achievement for Rodrigues. Hopefully (and more importantly) the Lakers can continue putting pucks in the net as they did on Saturday down the stretch.

If they still determine SUNYAC POW like they used to 5 years ago, its kind of silly because the SIDs in the conference submit their choice from their school and then the SUNYAC chooses from what they got from the SIDs. It is possible Oswego either didn't send it in, or missed deadline. I would find it very hard to believe that anyone else would have been deserving from the conference last week.

He did get Oswego State Athlete of the week among all sports

The player that did get it played a major role in two one-goal games so I have little problem him not getting it...IMO

WOW is right! They looked the same in Morrisville last week. Hopefully they are getting hot for a playoff run!
