we already have 3 good goalies, though we will lose one next year. Their goalie isn't the greatest... they could use a goalie.
Lets not get ahead of ourselves, it's only
been 2 games so far and Hare still needs to prove himself. Niagra may have been D1 but it wasn't really the top of the D1 prgrams.
Hey thats some good stuff, I wonder if this Paligero guy will be heckling HareYou're certainly right about that. Hare with only 3 career starts, one of which was that 5-1 laugher at pathfinder. But the thing with hare was, it wasnt like he wasnt playing at niagara, the kid was getting about 33 percent of the minutes. He's certainly looked good in that opening weekend after the two elmira games, and we'll see how that trend can hold up this weekend. Not only has he looked good, but you gotta also admit your goaltending situation in general is better than it was in november/december last year before hare arrived. The Utica game up there was almost a nightmare when Dan Jones dislocated his shoulder, the forward dressed in goalie pads on the bench almost got to play.
On another interesting note with Andrew Hare, take a look at the shoes Hare was trying to fill with the purple eagles. the year before he arrived at niagara, the eagles had a certain star netminder named Juliano Paligero, who ended up being nominated for the Hobey Baker. What makes this weekend just that much more intriguing is that Paligero will be behind the bench with Gary Heenan for UC. It's amazing how some of this stuff is all connected....
thnks for the video very niceHighlights from Cortland:

They had only one even strength goal because there was absolutely no room to do anything five on five because Cortland got a stick on a ton of shots due to their tiny ice surface. They packed everyone in down low and Oswego's d-men had a tough time getting it through the crowd in front. When they had room they dominated and completely controlled the game, especially in the second.
Hare made a couple of decent saves, one during a late PK to preserve the shutout was his best. He really controlled the defensive zone all night and limited the number of shots with his rebound control.
The power play was excellent all game long and could have had a couple of more goals if not for some nice saves by Kuhlman. It took a while to get the first goal but once they did it was all over.
Highlight of the night was a group of little Cortland fans heckling the scratched Oswego players after it was already 5-0. Not sure why they waited so long but it was funny stuff none the less.
Beckwith says he will see a doctor on Monday about his knee and he feels like he should be back soon.
