Yes they can as they have this year...the hockey games have been on the athletic website and basketball has been on WTOP's Livestream site...I just landed in Dallas and catching up....I will comfirm but I think hockey would remain as planned...

I was going to say...I thought I remember you saying earlier they they had that capability this year.

So the assumption is that the hockey game will be on the web, WTOP and TW (not to forget WNYO)...and the basketball game will be on the web. It's awesome to have a D-III program that can do that. Not many others can.

From what I heard the phones and internet went down earlier due to all of the traffic on both ends. Does not shock me at all.

yeah I tried both calling and logging in to get them earlier but neither worked.

Yup took me 15 minutes of going back and forth on the webpage till I finally got it to submit the transaction. As much as Id love to complain, its more then what Plattsburgh offers.

your all lucky to be going.... I have to put together a treadmill for my 81y.o dad,he still thinks he has some eligibility left and is getting back in shape :eek::D..........Ill have it on the web ...HOPEFULLY..

OSWEGO, N.Y. - The top-seeded Oswego State men's ice hockey team will host No. 2-seed Plattsburgh in the SUNYAC Championship on Saturday, March 3 at 7 p.m.

The game can be seen over the Internet, on Campus Channel 10, Local Channel 96, and Time Warner Channel 1027, which is available in Syracuse, Auburn, Utica, Binghamton and the North Country.

The Lakers, who are 22-2-2, defeated No. 5-seed Fredonia, 8-3, last Saturday night to punch their ticket into the title game. Plattsburgh comes to town after defeating No. 3-seed Buffalo State, 4-3, in triple overtime to improve to 18-4-4 overall.

Both squads skated to a 2-2 tie in December at Plattsburgh, but Oswego State clinch the No. 1-seed in the tournament when it defeated the Cardinals, 3-0, on February 17.

Tickets are still available for the game. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $3 for SUNY Oswego students with valid college ID. The Campus Center Box Office hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday through Friday and may be reached at (315) 312-3073. Online tickets may be purchased by the general public at tickets.oswego.edu. Tickets can also be purchased at the SUNY Oswego Downtown location.

And for those wondering about the conflict with basketball...

OSWEGO, N.Y. - The Oswego State Athletic Department is pleased to announce that all three NCAA Division III Men's Basketball First and Second Round games hosted by Oswego State will be webcast at athletics.oswego.edu/showcase with assistance from SUNY Oswego student-run WTOP. First round games feature #21-Eastern Connecticut State (22-5) versus Medaille College (25-2) at 5:30 p.m. and #14-Oswego State (25-3) versus Endicott (20-8) at 7:30 p.m. Friday's pre-game show will start at 5 p.m. Saturday's pre-game show will start at 6:30 p.m. when the winners of both games will be squaring off at 7 p.m.

All three games can be accessed on Campus Channel 10 and Local Access Channel 96. Both first round games on Friday will also be available on Time Warner Cable Channel 1027. However, Saturday's game will not be available on Time Warner.

Student-run WNYO 88.9 FM will also be providing a radio feed of the Oswego State vs. Endicott game on Friday at wnyosports.com.

. NOTE: the hockey webcast will be on WTOP's Livestream site...NOT the athletic website where it is usually found...considering the broad distribution hockey is getting via TWCable, I guess this was the compromise reached with the NCAA...
