Great game last night.
When was the last time we opened the season with a shut out?
Tonight we need to spend more time in the offensive zone and put more pressure on the OSU goalie.
Team defense was great, lets keep it up.

OSU will undoubtedly come out looking to use every weapon they have to get the split of the series. We have to make sure we keep to what worked for us and avoid taking penalties that would give them a big advantage. OSU got called for a single penalty yesterday (i thought they should have had at least a couple more) and we took 5 including a well deserved 5 minute major as Tapper launched himself into Caron with a tremendous retaliation hit. Winning yesterday was a great start but we displayed a number of weaknesses that I am sure coach lang is well aware of. Defensive zone turnovers and simply taking far too long to exit our own zone will cost us dearly if not addressed. We have more talent and speed on this team than I can remember seeing in a very long time. But this is a young team and obviously early in the season when we need to work on what could be problematic if allowed to continue. In any case, really a fun exciting group of boys to watch out there and i hope the local population starts to catch on and attendance increases so that this team has big crowds cheering them!!!!!!! Go Red!!!!

Caron is a dirty player he deserved it.
Young team with a lot of talent. Definitely some things to clean up but I really like this group. Krawchuck is very good

Great game! Let’s go red!! OSU goaltending looks suspect. Let’s get the sweep 🧹
 
Sitting here trying to watch the girls game with RMU but the broadcast keeps breaking up or freezing. They are down 2-0 and deservedly so. They are not the same team that played yesterday and are having great difficulty in moving the puck up ice. They miss Kendall Davidson badly and here's hoping for a return to the line up real soon.

They lost 4-2 including an ENG. Goals by Johnson and Montanari.

Broadcast is again breaking up quite a bit - especially when they try to show a replay. Had a look at other broadcasts here and all of them are crystal clear so it has to be something with the ESPN broadcast only from the RPI venue. Same thing happened earlier today with the ladies game.
