Thank for the updates. What a great experience and it's only July. Do you know what time they play tomorrow???
Think tomorrow's game is also 12:30 pm EST, then Saturday's is 7:30 am EST. I got to see a little bit of it. It was hard to see the numbers. I am not sure who scored our first goal. According to the thread on facebook, Joy Dunne scored in the third period to give us a 2-1 lead, but the goal was waved off. Neither team scored in overtime, then Sweden got one past us in the shootout. Tried to get into Sweden's livestats but there was nothing there.
Looks like we lost in the shootout.
I thought we had a PP goal in the 3rd but apparently I was mistaken.
It was hard to follow with only one camera down low never zooming in and no commentators. We also lost audio early in the 3rd. Still, it was better than the streaming from our barn.
My main concern is we had one of ours helped off the ice injured but I couldn't make out her number.
Start off the year on the wrong foot huh?

Thanks for the information. We're also playing without the full team. 4 players won't be ready to be active till school starts. Hopefully I can catch some of the game tomorrow. GO BUCKS!!!
I saw maybe half of the game, and in the comments during, somebody said Maddi Wheeler wasn't on the trip at all, and that Swiderski and Zumwinkel were there but not playing (no reason why was given).
Who is the 4th player "not ready"?
The Clarkson transfer.

Much better today with a solid 3-0 win!
That's awesome. Did Mira Jungaker play for OSU or Team Sweeden?
Not sure who got the goals today, but the Buckeyes won this one 3-0. It was 1-0 after the first period. Ohio State got a goal toward the middle of the third period, then added an empty netter. Apologize, could not make out the numbers at that end of the ice on the feed. Nice job by Ohio State in this one. I will take a shutout win against Sweden's National Team! Hopefully, they can carry this momentum into the final game tomorrow. Freshman goaltender Genny Klein got the start in this one and looked impressive, earning the shutout.
Nice job Genny Klein from Shattuck-St. Mary's.
It was posted on the teams FB page she made 13 saves and not taking anything away from Miss Kline but what does it say about our defense that she only had to face 13 shots from Team Sweden?
