I agree with you that we are not sitting in a bad position in the standings. I just wish we could have gone into the break playing better hockey. We definitely took a step backwards these past couple weekends.

I was just looking at the prices for the Three Rivers Classic in Pittsburg and the prices are outrageous, $54.00-78.00 apeice for just Fridays games. I can get front row at the Joe for the CCHA final for thirty bucks. How can they justify those prices for such a minor holiday tourney? We never had prices like that when we hosted holiday tornaments at Nationwide.

Well, the thought crossed my mind to make that road trip, but not at those prices. I am sorry but just because there is a lockout doesn't mean they should charge NHL prices for college hockey games! Yikes! Think I will sit that one out.

Thanks Pigfarmer. I wonder why the difference in price?
HOWEVER, ticketmaster charges nearly $10.00 in sevice fees so that $33.00 ticket is actually $42.50 and for a family of 4 that's $170.00 and throw in food & drinks plus gas for a 360 mile round trip and parking and it still comes to I'd say around $300.00, more than I think it should cost. Still will probably stay home.
Just wondering though are they giving away tickets there or something? Not a lot of seats left in the lower bowl acording to Ticketmaster's interactive seat chart. Maybe the Penguin fans are just starved for ANY hockey?

That first website is a broker site where they commonly charge double or more depending on event of face value. But yes ticketmaster can get you with those fees. PSU being there may be helping ticket sales as well.

Happy Holidays to all the fellow Buckeye Hockey fans on here. There might not be alot of us but I know everyone here cares! I frequently work to make the fanbase larger, but we'll save that convo for another day. I'm thinking a USCHO get together something this 2nd half, maybe the Michigan series.

Same to you and your family. I am on board with the get together and that Michigan series sounds good to me.

Back at it tonight. Even though it's non conf a win over Miami would still be nice in the pairwise. Saturday is either game 3 this season vs RMU or first game ever vs PSU. Here we go!

Would like to see a 'W' vs Miami tonight just for the confidence factor, and we need to get the second half of the season started the right way.

Redhawks up 1-0 with 11:37 to go in the third. Still anyone's game. Hey, totally off topic here, but I got a hockey sweater for Christmas that does not have numbers on it. When I ordered it, well, I requested a number on it (thought the extra $30 covered name and number, but apparently it was just to get my name on the back). It's a blue sweater and just needs a couple white numbers. Anyone in central Ohio know where I might be able to take it to get some numbers put on it?

OSU was playing without coach and Miami without two impact players. I wouldn't look too much into that game

Yep & we still can't beat the Redhawks. I think the Redhawks had more of the disadvantage with there top 2 players gone than the Bucks Head Coach. Eh.
